About
Hammock Creek Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus Legacy Design, is a fabulous daily fee layout on the Treasure Coast of Florida. Opened in July of 1996, the Club has hosted several local, state, and national competitions. Featuring five sets of tees from 5,045 to 7,131 yards, the golf course is a favorite for both locals and snowbirds alike. The practice facility offers one acre of celebration turf to satisfy the most ardent game improvement golfers. The centerpiece of the Hammock Creek community though is the clubhouse, which completed an extensive renovation in October of 2020. The restaurant, verandahs, and dining deck offers breakfast and lunch daily, with a variety of daily and weekly specials to quench your thirst and satisfy your appetite.

Almost perfect if it wasn't for the pace of play
I really liked the course. At first I thought it was going to be a typical Florida golf course surrounded by housing, but after a few holes, you start to notice a nice Jack Nicklaus design. The back nine is definitely nicer, feels more secluded than the front nine. The conditions of the course were fine, especially with how rainy this summer season has been. The practice facilities were ok, range balls are not complimentary. The 19th hole is very nice, they have guiness on tap! The one negative aspect of my experience was the pace of play. The course was very packed, with tee times going off every 7 minutes. When you tee off every 7 minutes, it just calls for a very slow round. If they could space it out every 10 minutes, I think it would make a world of difference.

Great experience
I drove about an hour to play here. After seeing some really positive things about it online, I was intrigued. The facilities were extremely nice, had a private course feel. The actual course was great, it was in great shape. Overall, great experience.

Nice course worth playing
This is a nice course with a challenging design. It is worth playing. Although it is further away from Palm Beach then many other courses, it is very close to 95, so it is relatively easy to get to. It is difficult to get on in regulation, and has several long par threes. The course is definitely above average and better than most alternatives in the Palm Beach area.

Very wet after all of the rain, but course was in good shape despite the recent weather. Greens, tee boxes and fairways all in good condition

Needs Some Work
Good course, however really showing its need for maintenance. Granted it had rained a good deal the couple of day before, however the roughs were exceptionally long. The tee boxes in several areas need work. Finally the greens are in good condition.

Covid
Played there this morning, I booked my tee time cart included, when I got to the course they paired me with someone, nothing in between the cart to protect people from Covid that’s BS… to topped it off some manager came and told me to pay $30 if I want my own cart. Will never play that course again.

We have and always follow all CDC guidelines regarding exercise in outdoor settings.
We always offer a free plexi-glass divider between drivers and passengers in a two seated golf cart to provide an additional layer of safety in outdoor settings.

I like the small modifications to the tee box areas, greens are good.
