Pine Creek Golf Course
About
Located east of Nashville in Mount Juliet, Pine Creek Golf Course claims to have the most well maintained greens in the area as well as some of the most affordable rates. The layout offers different challenges on the front and back nines for a diverse round. The first nine are links holes that tumble across rolling terrain while the back nine has a more traditional design with tighter fairways that require greater accuracy and strong iron play. The signature hole is the par-3 sixth, a hole generously framed with trees that crosses a large water hazards. It is a fair test for players of all skill levels but it was also designed with playability in mind. More seasoned golfers will find many risk-reward opportunities but beginners the forced carries won't punish beginners.

Memorial Day Golf
Pine Creek is a decent layout with several decent golf holes. The course is in decent condition except for the sand bunkers. They are in a word “unplayable” with very little sand, some looked like they had been under repair for awhile. They hadn’t been groomed at all as far as I could tell and I took three drops due to their condition.
The greens were very inconsistent from a speed standpoint. The practice green was very slow which didn’t translate to greens on the course.
I got a discount and that was why i played.
It’s a good track yet if it was completely cared for it could be a much better experience.

The greens were fast and in excellent condition and playability. Each hole fairways were in very good condition as the past week temperature was at 85 "F" and higher. The sand traps are being reworked.
I would highly recommend Pine Creek as a Five Star Golf Course Destination!

Poor bunker condition but who cares, just don't get into one!
Greens were generally large, smooth and fast.. Above the hole is not the place to be. Fairways were very wide and forgiving. Could have used a little more grass fluff because the lies were tight.
Fun layout, overpriced.
This course has a fun design. Greens are in great shape, probably aerated a couple weeks ago, theyre almost healed.
My problem is just with the price. $60 for 18 to play a course whose fairways and roughs are like a public park course. Conditions are similar to McCabe. $32 to just play 9, you can pay less to play 18 at nicer courses. I guess they’ve spent a lot renovating this course so they’re trying to get their money back, but it’s a little excessive.
I like the course, and would love to go back. Just compared to other courses, way too pricey. Greystone is incredible and you can play 18 for $45.
Fast greens at least today
Still winter golf so thin fairways but greens were quick.
Great potential
This course is laid out well. It is early in the season, so the fairways were still yellow. I’m sure when the turf is in its prime that it plays a little differently. The greens were smoking fast! However, I hope to play it again soon.
This course has great features
Nice the range, the practice green and all the different views out there.
Fairways, oh my!!
The people and service at this place is top notch. But the course, especially the fairways were just awful. In and around the greens were perfect. You pay $50+ dollars on the weekend the course needs to be in better shape. If you’re repairing fairways and that many at one time then you should not be charged the full amount. It’s reality when you would rather be in the rough than the fairway. Once the fairways and there are many are repaired the course will be awesome, but you need to be upfront with your paying customers and you shouldn’t be charging the full amount for that crappy golf course.
Fun Course with Fast Greens
My friends and I were on vacation in Tennessee and were pleasantly surprised by this course.
The golf carts (often your first impression of a course) were really nice (appeared new with really comfortable seats). They also had water bottles and towels in the cart for each person.
There was no starter so the Pro Shop attendant told us to just go ahead and tee off. His only advice was stay out of the rough (that seems to be what every starter at a course tells you when you ask for advice but this time it was true because the rough was very thick).
The pace of play was good for most of the round (we really only had to wait on the 17th and 18th hole). My friend was annoyed that so many singles were playing (and being good golfers we always offered to let them play through which slowed our round a bit but we were still done in just over 4 hours). They really should have put singles together but my guess is that it was later in the afternoon and guys just showed up to play.
The course was in very good shape but that may be partly because they have a 90 degree rule (not just that day but we saw permanent signs stating 90 degree).
The real challenge of the course was the speed of the greens - really, really fast. It was hard to have your approach shot stay on the green which was surprising given how wet the fairways were from all the rain earlier in the week. So no roll in the fairways but the ball released too much on greens.
We played on a Monday afternoon so I can't speak for pace of play on the weekend but I would recommend this course based on the fun layout.
Good Course
This course is a lot of fun to play. The layout is fair with very few holes with OB. Greens are always in great shape. Very walkable course. Practice facilities much improved with additional practice green. I do wish rates were a little lower.
Challenging holes
A pleasant course to play but sometimes rather slow. They have rangers but the didn't expedite play. Took two hours and forty five minutes to play the front nine. Overall scenery nice but not much grass on the fairways this time of year.
rsl
Course is in good shape for winter. Also had an excellent Golf Now rate.

Club house is nice
Staff is very nice
Greens very nice
Fairways cut to short
Pace of play was horrible
Older regulars need to understand golf edicut applies to them also
$40.00 a round was to much for this course
The cost and pace of play will keep us from returning.
Getting Better
This course has improved over the summer. First the good things, the fairways are green and in good shape, there are challenging holes (4th, 10th, 13th) and most of the holes are separated from the other holes by trees. Also, the people who play the course are always kind. The pace of play is good too.
The first hole is pretty mediocre as are the 5th and 7th and 16th but the opening hole is the most generic. The greens could use some doctoring and there are some bare patches on the course still and the normal everyday price is too high.
If you get a deal on it, the course is fun and quiet. If you are in the early evening you will see deer especially on the 11th fairway and the staff is great. It's not Augusta or Pine Valley but its definitely a step up from a municipal course. The burgers are good too.
Nice course
Very nice course. Took a co-worker from out of town and he was very impressed with the course.
Great value
Great greens. Not the most difficult track. Fairways getting much better. Good value course
Still recovering...
Greens where in good shape but slow. They must be keeping them long to not lose them. Most of the fairways are still showing damage or have areas under repair. Holes 5, 10, 11, 13 & 14 pretty much the whole fairways are ground under repair even though you can still play off them.
Very nice, fun course to play.
Course is very scenic and has awesome placement. TeeBoxes fairways are kept up very nice, although some sod work is being done right now.Greens are in fair condition. Overall.very fun.course to play, the only problem was the pace of play was slower.
