Indian Hills Golf Course

as always it was a fun day at indian hills . my playing partner and i were paired with 2 very nice young men and we had a fine time . there was a district high school tournament being played when we arrived but the staff actually got us out ahead of our tee time . the fairways were excellent and freshly mowed , however there were some dead spots on the greens but that did not deter from the otherwise perfect conditions . we never had to wait on any tee so pace of play was excellent . i'd recommend this course to anyone and i will be back

This could be a great course but the little things add up. The tee boxes are bad. Number 9 is a dog leg right- almost 90 degrees which requires a fade, but the tee box slopes to the left. There are several others- 7,8, 17. The greens are in good shape. I've played here several times and they won't let you tee off until it is your tee time. The first tee could be open for 30 minutes but you have to wait for a slow group to go off ahead of you.

It cost 7.99 up front and I had one of my foursome that could not make to play and they charged my card for his round. Not much of a savings now. I could have played most anywhere cheaper. Not happy won't go back.

I read some negative reviews and was not sure about playing here for the first time. I have played several courses in the Murfreesboro area and I got exactly what 17.00 dollars for 9 holes will get you around here. I dont know what all the negative reviews were about. The fairways were nice, the rough was rough but not too rough, and the greens were nice and green. I really enjoyed playing here and I got exactly what 17.00 dollars will get you for a public facility in this area. I will be back soon enough and will be telling my other golf friends what a great time we had.

I love this course, it's challenging and beautiful. I realize this particular day was a holiday, but there was no organization or control over players/pace that day. the entire 5+hours it took for us to play, we did not see a marshall/ambassador. there was a group of 5 elderly people ahead of us playing super slow, with a group of 2 between our group and them who played even slower. we had a group behind us hitting at us or over our heads. and with nobody around to make aware of the situation, we were stuck dealing with all of it or just leaving the course all together. and when we made the turn, there was a group of 6, yes 6 high school or college kids that admitted they weren't supposed to be there but just decided they were going to start on the he back 9. so on top of the two groups already playing super slow, we had teenagers trying to hurry us off the tee box like it was our fault they were in the wrong place. like I said, I love this course, but I most definitely will not be playing there on another holiday weekend until they can be a little more organized.

The course is in really good shape. Greens putted good.

This is the 3rd time that I have booked Indian Hills through GolfNow. But 2 out of the 3 times I have showed up early to warm up on range, it's been closed!

Great practice for playing on hills! Packed course made for real slow play

45 minutes after our booked tee time we finally got to tee off. saw multiple groups heading back - not sure if they were going home or trying to find an open hole. the twosome we were paired up with had to leave after 7 holes due to slow play and delayed start. had another 20 minute wait after the turn with 2 groups stopping for food. the ambassador rode around, but did nothing to improve the pace of play

For some reason they let a group of 6 walk the course and that completely slowed everything down. Also there are no marshalls to keep the pace of play

Went off as a twosome with no one ahead of us. Caught up to second twosome on 4th, paired up with them on the 5th. Waited on every hole after that for the 3 groups ahead of us. Very hot out, marshall (or as they call it Ambassador) should have move pace along. But did not. Course has really been almost given up on, at least 20-30 bunkers filled with grass...even at $27.00 with fees, etc I feel I did not get my money's worth.

Fairways and tee boxes are in much better condition now. Greens are in good condition. I have never been a fan of hole 9

I've played here a few times and enjoy it but on the weekends it's slow play, driving by it on the way to play we saw a group of 6 playing on and the group ahead of us had five.. No telling how many big groups over 4 were out there. That's just crazy maybe on a week day when it's not as busy.

Very nice course. Like many in the area, some rough spots left from the harsh spring, but overall very good condition.

We had a great day golf. Afraid it was going to rain on us but it didn't and there was hardly anyone out playing so we where able to take our time and enjoy 18 holes. Only thing bad was some of the fairways were torn but when checking in I was told of that , very understandable , just sucks your stuck to cart path only on about half the course . Still had a wonderful day playing golf!

Course is in pretty bad shape currently. Had to stay on cart path on 5 holes due to fairway work being done. Definitely not worth the money they want to charge right now.

Ordinarily a good golf course but at least six fairways are lost due to the bad winter. Should be better by the fall.

Few holes open to carts. multiple repairs to course including " turfing" removed from fairways obviously for repairs on other areas. Course has some confusing holes with little direction. Greens were in average condition. Large, expensive homes close to fairway boundries. good to get on and hit a round but would not recommend play until course is returned to advertised condition.

The course has some tough holes. It has some very tight holes, if you slice at all you will take out some houses. Course was in ok shape, some holes on the front side were cart path only due to some issues with the grass. The greens were in good shape and rolled well. Some of the tee boxes are extremely crowned and need some work. Overall its not a bad course for the area.
