Excellent course layout.
Many elevated greens. Very nice greens. Target golf mostly narrow fairways. Don't have to bomb it off the tees to have a chance to score well.
Sun was out
A buddy and i had the day off and the weather was good in the 70s and su shining.. Course was a little ruff like must courses are this time of year. (Grass is dormant and aerated greens)
All in all we had a good time shot a 79
Dissappointed in the course
Very dissapointed in the course. In terrible shape. Will not suggest to a friend, won't play again until it's in much better condition.
Home sweet home
This course is my home course. I started playing here and have to say I enjoy it the most! Narrow areas with houses all around it makes for challenging play. Plenty of hazards to drive you crazy as well but makes for though it club selection! No just plunking down the fairway here! Friendly staff nice environment- some work being done to make the course better too!!
enjoy it everytime
course hasnt greened up yet also so construction going on at the creek surrounding course the noise was unpleasent . but i have played there several times and will return
Fun and exciting!
Indian Hills in Murfreesboro TN is one of my favorite courses to play. First, I will start with the staff. They are always polite and friendly even when they may be having a bad day. The food is pretty good as well. The course itself can be a bit challenging at times depending on pin placement, but they greens can be forgiving as well. Stones River is right beside several of the tee boxes and runs beside some of the fairways so hitting it straight is a must unless you enjoy the seeing the many birds and fish that Stones River has to offer. My favorite hole is #7. It's a part 3 with little room for error, but if you happen to make it on the green odds are you have a pretty good chance at making a birdie considering the green is flat. Overall the course gets better every year and I would highly recommend playing it if you are the casual or everyday golfer.
good open fairway
The course was nice for this time of year But golfnow sent me a email sayingy green fee was to be 25.95 when I got there I had to pay 32.00 so I hope that not a rule for the senson
Great course
Need Marshall to let you play through slower players
Waste of $
Maybe if there were no other course on earth. Then expect a poor attitude from the staff, decades old range mats, lots of denim, and yes, a mattress floating in the water hazard on 11. Not even an exaggeration, there is a mattress on the course. A real gem I say! Wouldn't play here again at any price.
Unable to play
We were unable to play on this day, because It snowed and the temperature was below 30 degrees, so the course was closed and we were unable to play.
great course, great staff!
I've been going to Indian Hills for awhile now and haven't had a bad experience yet! great prices, always fun and challenging for a novice like myself.
Great course in the boro
Indian Hills has a great layout. Fun and challenging for your short game.
Good variety of hole designs.
A good variety of hole designs but with a lot of OB seemingly everywhere on the holes among the houses. The third hole has an elevated fairway that causes right tailing shots to roll out of bounds, a bit unfair after missing fairway by five yards. There is also OB on the left side on this hole.
Condition of the course was very nice except on greens still healing from aeration. Greens are slow and bumpy. This was October 13.
If greens were better I'd increase my rating one star.
Great shape and value
The greens are in great shape and course has been maintained will compared to a couple of years ago. The best deal in town as of now.
Good Condition
Course is in good condition. GolfNow gave an aerating warning, but that was not the case. Staff was very friendly upon arrival. Great value.
Good course for all levels
The course was in great condition. Marshals were out to maintain a good play pace and the course has a nice variety of easier and more challenging holes. Nice driving range and chipping areas as well.
Indian Hills is in better shape than ever right now!
The course is fun and challenging. I have been a Murfreesboro resident for almost a decade and have been playing this course for as long. Indian Hills is in better shape now than ever before.
Staff are nice, course is in great shape, and the course is definitely a challenge!
Overall courses in good shape.
Greens have improved over the years. I believe there is a better grounds crew.
This course is one that I frequent.
I wouldn't pay the full price at the clubhouse, but they have some pretty good deals on Golfnow. The fairways are a little fluffier than I prefer, but the greens are nice and fast. Overall I would play the course again.
