Nashboro Golf Club

Course is always wet after a rain, 1 ball washer on the whole 18 on a wet day. My only gripe.

No Driving range or any place to loosen up Poor communication and no starter

Course was I ok condition considering the local flooding last week. The staff was helpful and friendly. No driving range

Course was very wet today. Greens were in better condition than the fairways but today was cart paths only because of rain over the past days. Look forward to playing again when next we return to Nashville. Conditions should improve once drier weather arrives. Sand traps need to be attended to and groomed once things dry out. Carts recently fitted with gos system. At times the signal along the course caused the carts to shut down and warn us to get back to the cart paths. Staff mentioned that the system was recently out in and that things needed to be reset and signals may have been blocked by trees in some spots. We understood the problem once it was e planned to us. Will play again in the future.

I love playing this course and if the course wasn't so damp from the winter precipitation, it would have been a great round. The clubhouse and pro shop are both world class and the practice facilities as well. This course is a southern gem and is a must play in Nashville

It’s winter time and they were doing some course renovations so I imagine it’s a more polished course on a normal day. Pace of play was great and the layout was a fun. Greens were soft and rolled well - pin placements were moderate so that made it a bit more fun to have a few easier pin placements and some more difficult ones. All in all I had a great time and enjoyed it the course.

I like the layout of the course - a lot of variety on each hole. It's fairly forgiving and open so plan to use your driver often. There is sort of of hodge podge of golf cart in average to below average condition but ours got us from point A to point B. We had to wait about 15 minutes to tee off because they were out of carts. We had a slow foursome in front of us. Foursome let us skip a short par 3 and it was smooth sailing after that. The greens were brown (not painted) which was fine with me. I thought they rolled very true and consistent speeds. They were doing something with many of the par 3 tee boxes so they had all tees moved way up. One par 3 was 60 yards to the pin from the back tees. (that's the one we skipped). Very interesting surroundings with some run down homes and junky backyards right on the course. But overall an excellent value for the money.

Good course for 18. Pace can me slow on busier days. Staff is super friendly and helpful. While older, The clubhouse has a nice classic golf club vibe.

Good course for the price. Greens have a lot of slope and make for dinner very tricky putts but they roll true. Had some issues with our cart but they gave us a new one at the turn

The temporary tee box on 13 wasn't ideal and made the par 3 a 60 yard hole.... But hey, it's winter golf

This course has the potential to be rated extremely well. There's a grill above the pro shop that smells AMAZING at the turn but we didn't visit this time - we will next time. The dude behind the counter is totally short with customers, but none of us minded at all. He checked us in, gave us our cart key, and got us on our way, what more is needed?

The course itself was fun and we'll definitely be back in the spring. This is the only course we've played this winter that let the greens die. Aside from being brown and dead, they were in otherwise good condition -- played well and were challenging enough. I actually like this course more than some of the expensive courses in the area. There is hole variation and elevation changes and I'm sure during the spring and summer it's absolutely beautiful. The hazards are well placed and there are just enough of them to be challenging for every level without taking the fun out of the game. The tee boxes weren't groomed at all but were still playable. I'll be very interested to see what this course looks like in a few months. We did all enjoy the pace of play reminders at many of the holes. There is nothing worse than getting caught behind a group of jerks who hit 4-5 balls off the box and then spend an hour looking for them, wait for each other, and hold up the entire day. I appreciate very much that pace of play is so important to Nashboro. We didn't see anyone come out and tell folks to move it along, and no one searched our bags, but we were ready for all of it based on reviews, so I would recommend others do the same.

My biggest complaint about the course, honestly, is the carts. They're completely unsafe. Ours didn't have brakes at all, and the one we decided not to get had bald tires. There are chunks missing from seats, they just aren't maintained-- much like the greens and tee boxes.

Don't go into this course thinking it's going to be amazing. Go into this course wanting a fun game and some food at the turn that probably tastes as good as it smells. And be careful in them carts!
