Patriots Glen Golf Club

Younger guy managing the front counter of pro shop was great. Friendly and got the job done. Start on the other hand was very off putting and rude. There was a lack of customer service attitude with this guy. Course has so much potential. Challenging lay out but greens were slow and it seemed to be due to lack of being cut. Bunkers haven’t been touched in ages and if your ball lands there you might as well just move it out. But overall not bad, but need someone passionate about taking care of the golf course and treating the guests as the people keeping their business alive.

I have played here a few times a year for the last 4-5 years, except for last year. The last time l played the conditions were dreadful, including 11 greens which were unplayable. When l just played recently the course was in much better shape, from the tee boxes to the fairways to the greens, which were excellent. Such an improvement, I was pleasantly surprised. The course has a great layout and it's great to see it coming back.

I would give the course more starts but they need to mow down the greens. It was like putting on carpet. Someone on the staff said that’s the plan so they don’t get burned out by August. I thought that’s what sprinklers were for?? Also could use a couple of tri-axle dump trucks of sand for the bunkers. For $30 twilight it wasn’t bad. Played a round in 4 hours but until they bring the greens and sand traps up to a better playing condition I would t recommend playing here.

Since the last time I played, this course has improved so much. They really seem to want to make the course better. The greens were in great health. The work they are doing to revive the course really shows!

They just need to get some staff that cares and is approachable at 720 in the morning. 730 tee time. Staff didn’t even arrive to open the building until 715. Put everyone behind which caused a huge backup out of the gate.

Staff extremely unfriendly....course is good other than the sand bunkers are concrete. Pace of play ridiculously slow. The regulars who go have zero golf etiquette. Worst round I’ve ever played.

Please , Patriots Glen staff, don’t take too long to start to work on your bunkers. All the steps to make the course great again are noticeable, but if you let the bunkers sit too much longer, it will start to reflect poorly on the entire course.

Still spotty in places and the greens need to be cut when I played, but visually pleasing and starting to come back from the grave.

Yes a bit of work needed in some of the fairways and bunkers but looks like they are currently fixing these areas but no fixing required in the over all design and layout of the course and some realy beautiful holes thrown in,

Course was wet from the rain not much you can do so cart path only and very slow rate of play. Greens were rough but it is early in year

The ranger was not out on the course to monitor other groups during play. We were stuck behind a group of 4 and at each hole there were 2 groups waiting to tee off. Course was wide and open on the fairways but needed some TLC. Our tee time was pushed back due to the frost but it took us almost 5 1/2 hours to play 18.

Got there at 950am for a 1020am tee time. Wanted to hit some balls at the driving range, paid for tokens only to find out- no balls where in the hopper. Received a refund. Also was told at the time of payment that there is an hour delay due to frost. Pace of play was horrible today. If I knew before I got there or before I paid that there was an hour delay- I would have cancelled my RSVP. Very understaffed this morning- kid who rang me up was also the bartender. Running back and forth from both spots- felt bad for him. Beautiful day, you would think that they would have had more staff on hand.. played with another group, had fun with them. Might try this course again in the late summer.

Excellent course layout, with a challenge for all levels of play. Condition are a little off, but we are early into the season. This course is a gem.

Why do you let me book if the course is closed? I hope I get a refund. Also. Pics you show for the course are not for THIS course.

Patriots Glen is an excellent layout with some really pretty holes. Unfortunately, it has really bad drainage. That can make portions of this course like a swamp. There are issues with burnt out tee boxes and some greens had bare spots. This was a rainy summer and crab grass thrived under the hot wet conditions. The good news is that this course is recovering. I would recommend this course for the layout alone.
