Great little course
Nice course. Wet Foggy day, cart path only. Well laid out, very challenging, conditions improving, Entire staff very friendly and helpful. Didn’t score well but it was eat day!

Great Day of Golf
It had been a couple of months since I had played PG. The last time it was a little rough...conditions were not good. Since I paid under 20.00 for the round today it was a great value for the dollar. I will return. Not sure what was going on a few months ago, but the course was pretty good shape today. was it perfect....no, but the course has recovered.

Not bad but wet
The course was nice but extremely wet and cart bath only made for slow play

It’s getting there
Course is improving with new seed and using cart path only to prevent the fairways from getting torn up. Once the drainage and irrigation is fixed it will be a scenic and enjoyable course.

Awful awful staff.
Had an early tee time - was battling with a staff member rolling the greens / brushing to remove dew. all 18 holes. I feel like this should've been taken care of before allowing guests to tee off. Nice staff in clubhouse but no warning it was cart path only. Various greens/fairways/bunkers were muddy as heck and unplayable. Was admonished on hole 18 (playing solo with headphones) by a staff member that is was "CART PATH ONLY!" mid-shot. "I told you on hole 12." he said. I had headphones in buddy, how bout you tell me at the clubhouse or have signage on course for day rules? Totally unprofessional, almost comical considering the state of the course. Not coming back for $50+. Get your act together.

Patriots Glen national Golf Course
What a gem of a course! Wonderful course layout.Every hole is separated from each other by deep woods and water.
This course is really on the rebound. It has had some hard times in the past but the new owners are really doing a terrific job on making the course a great place to play again. The greens were in great shape as were most of the tee boxes and fairways. The sand traps could use some TLC. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
I would definitely play this course again!

This coures has had some rough times, but today was really nice, especially for the price on Golf Now. Coming back!

Getting better
You can really see the Improvement in this course just since the last month. Tee boxes and greens pretty good. One green still closed but overall great value.

Getting there.
Thus course has a great layout and has changed hands a couple of times and had fallen into disarray but the current. Owners are working hard to bring it back and they are getting there.

Avoid this course.
This establishment should be embarrassed for charging us $43 plus GolfNow fees for this course. (No Refunds Allowed)
The tee boxes were ridiculous. I tried to upload an image and my entire review was deleted. The tee boxes were mostly dirt. The ones that had grass, the weeds were so tall it was hard to find a spot to hit your tee shot without having grass between the ball and club. The tee boxes that had grass were freshly sodded. It was like standing on a cobblestone road. No flat place for your feet. Obviously the greenskeeper is not very knowledgeable. They just threw the sod down on the old tee box, old grass and all, instead of preparing the tee box and leveling it.
The fairways were ok. They had bare spots in some places. They also had sodded some areas by throwing the sod on top of the grass. It was pretty obvious by the fact the dirt on the new sod was visible and 3 inches above the rest of the fairway.
They had a 500 yard par 5 that the had a temporary green at about 340 yards. The sod on that green appears to be thrown on top of the old grass.
The greens were patchy from a fungus. (Incidentally, you get fungus by throwing sod on top of old grass that isn’t removed.)
The greens were VERY long too. Probably a 4 on the stimp meter. I felt under-clubbed with my putter in my hand. They had not been cut in at least a week.
I would never suggest anyone play here. They are called GREENS FEES for a reason.

You pay for what you get
I think the title to this review summarizes everything! Not sure where the green fee's are going because it sure isn't into the greens!

Good course with sub par conditions
Patriots Glen is a good course with a really good layout. Plenty off distance from the back tees and friendly to the short hitters with multiple tee boxes. The course condition is poor. Tee boxes and greens are hurt the most. Plenty of disease on both. The weather has been the main cause with all of the rain that Delaware had this summer. In all, I played around the course condition issues and had a lot of fun. The layout is worth a trip.

One of the worst courses around
I cannot recall a time in my life where I’ve seen a course worse than this. It’s really a shame as the layout isn’t bad at all. The fairways are torn up, and the greens are the worst I’ve ever played.
The course was nice years ago, but I’m guessing current ownership either doesn’t care or doesn’t have the business acumen to run a nice golf course.
Stay away - I’d rather play putt putt
