About
Myerlee Golf & Country Club began as the dream of a retired New York police officer who moved to Florida in the 1960s just so he could play more golf. His dream eventually became a peaceful retirement community with a beautiful 18-hole course as its centerpiece. The Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the toughest par-60 golf courses in southwest Florida. There are two streams that cut across the course and intersect on the front nine. They snake along every hole, making water the predominant hazard but there are also several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for. The golf course is mostly open with a few cypress trees dotted along the fairways and greens. Myerlee Golf & C.C. is a course that will test your skills but it isn't overly punishing, which gives it appeal for beginners as well.

Great executive course.
Friendly people work there. The golf course had a ton of work to it and it is beautiful. Don’t know how anybody could complain about the condition of this course. Had a great time and will be back.

Florida par 3’s
The cart was given to us with cigarette ash throughout the entire ball holder trays along with cigarette buds. The cup holders were also gummed up and sticky from the previous players drinks. The windshield glass was fogged, almost as if someone had a competition of who could wipe their greasy hands on it.
The cart jockey showing his true colors prevented us from finishing our round on 18, as we were driving up to our layups to the green he proceeded to heckle us from the cart path 15minutes before the closing time posted.
A lot of trash on the course; bottles, wrappers, beer cans/bottles, solo cups, plastic bags.
Overall just a lack of cleanliness, customer service and course management. I expect more if I’m paying for 18 holes.

In great shape
This is the first time I have played Myerlee since the greens have been redone. A very big improvement! Course is in the best condition I have ever seen it.

Second day in a row playing this great course, lot of work done to make it better. Staff is friendly, greens were in good condition. Would definitely play here again

Golfers
I had quite an enjoyable round at Myerlee. The people were very nice. The only thing that I want to point out is the people they let out on the course. They basically let anybody out and the round can get very long if someone scores 10-15 shots on a par 3. They also let a group of 8 out on the course which was very surprising. They were a few holes behind us when we finished but considering how slow our group was I don't really want to know about the people behind them. Poor people.
Some nice features
Nice to see some lengthy par 4s. Could use some upkeep.
