Myerlee Country Club
About
Myerlee Golf & Country Club began as the dream of a retired New York police officer who moved to Florida in the 1960s just so he could play more golf. His dream eventually became a peaceful retirement community with a beautiful 18-hole course as its centerpiece. The Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the toughest par-60 golf courses in southwest Florida. There are two streams that cut across the course and intersect on the front nine. They snake along every hole, making water the predominant hazard but there are also several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for. The golf course is mostly open with a few cypress trees dotted along the fairways and greens. Myerlee Golf & C.C. is a course that will test your skills but it isn't overly punishing, which gives it appeal for beginners as well.

TEE TIMES DON'T MATTER HERE
Not worth the money
very frustrating when your tee time doesn't matter had to wait over 30min after because the course scheduled a league or whatever at the same time every hole was stacked up had to wait for 1-2 groups of 4 on every hole to tee off before us
if want to be done in 4 hours or less don't play here it's a joke should be a 3 hour pace course it's short not challenging and terrible grass if you could call it that
Time management is not a thing here good luck if you play here I would not recommend it
Fun course
Lots of par 3 and you don't repeat 9..real 18. Good time to ho I d late afternoon. Cheaper and less people.opened til 8.
Myerlee, Meh-erlee
Myerlee is an average course on the upswing so more fair-to-middling than fair. However, on this day, it was merely fair. The layout is nice enough, but the course was so painfully hard and dry that even the softest shots and putts rolled ridiculously far. It being a short executive course with carts, I was hoping to play a reasonably quick round, but I was paired with three beginners and it took four hours. Doubt I will be back.
Improved
We hadn’t played in two years but conditions of green were very much improved and fairways were in okay shape. The tee boxes were sparse from the amount of play they get. Great value for a fun, less than 3 hour round. A renter would have been helpful, many slow players
Improved
The new greens are nice. The staff was friendly and the pace of play was good. Enjoyable quick round.
Good day of golf
Went alone as single female paired up with three members. Very nice men had a great day of golf
Course improved since played here a year ago. Yes boxes and greens very nice
