About
Myerlee Golf & Country Club began as the dream of a retired New York police officer who moved to Florida in the 1960s just so he could play more golf. His dream eventually became a peaceful retirement community with a beautiful 18-hole course as its centerpiece. The Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the toughest par-60 golf courses in southwest Florida. There are two streams that cut across the course and intersect on the front nine. They snake along every hole, making water the predominant hazard but there are also several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for. The golf course is mostly open with a few cypress trees dotted along the fairways and greens. Myerlee Golf & C.C. is a course that will test your skills but it isn't overly punishing, which gives it appeal for beginners as well.

Poor Greens
Honestly in my 40 years of playing golf the worst greens I have ever witnessed
Poor Greens
Worst greens I have ever played in my 40 years of playing golf.
Heavens me! Worst on 40 years? We truly apologize! Breaks our heart to hear this. We have men working round the clock to get Myerlee ready for season 2022. Lots to do between now and then but we are up for the challenge! Also, thank you to you and your brethren for all you have done as of late. We order a lot of our golf course products online, most of which are delivered by UPS. You are all hero's and we appreciate you! Have a blessed day!
This course needs lots of work
The fairways and the tee areas were in rough shape and the greens were in Terrible Shape.. It's difficult to even call them greens!

We appreciate you pointing this out to us. While we know the status of our facility post season, it's always helpful to have others confirm what we suspected. We have a killer season and a lot of play. We are in recovery mode as we work to repair all the wear and tear caused by so much play this past season. Give us a little time and we will get this baby looking good again! TY!
Just disappointed every green was under repair. Looked like bunkers from the tees. Need this info in the future before booking.

We do our very best to post tee time notes on all our available inventory online to help alert our patrons and we certainly strive to share this info for golfers that call the pro shop directly. Needs work
In its day I am sure it was a nice course, now it needs lots of work. I seen several people working on the course. Hope it gets better soon..
Thank you for your comment. Our season in SW Florida ends around late April. After that we are in maintenance and recover mode as we repair all the wear and tear that occurred from excessive play in season. Stay away for next 2 weeks
Greens covered with sand, because Aeoration of greens!!!
Correct. With aerification comes recovery conditions. 1 star for our effort in maintaining our greens after a long season of heavy play? Tough crowd! haha Kidding! Thanks for the review eighty2028! Give us a couple weeks and all our effort will be visible with beautify greens! Maintenance is part of the process! :)
Greens were shot unfortunately
Played it a few years ago and it was decent but at least 8 greens were heavily sanded and seeded. Positives they will be better later this year and 2 putt rule, negative not good for practice. Staff was great though just unfortunately green conditions

The Greens
The Greens were the worst I had ever seen. Someone help the people who take care of the Greens
Good morning patron! We had just aerified the greens and sanded them which is why the conditions were as such. Summer is Florida is when courses perform maintenance on their greens, fairways and tee boxes. A necessary practice to keep the courses playable for years to come. Be sure to play with us again soon. Good round
The course was on good shape considering it had been in the 90s ! Plenty of water available around the course too. Enjoyed playing even though I was by myself

Great course for beginners
Tees getting much better than a month or so ago. Greens still need a lot of work althoigh they were a little faster than normal. Fairways in reasonably good shape.

Practice round course
If you're looking for a place to practice your short game and you don't care about the conditions of the greens, then this is ok.

Sand box
This was by far the worst course I’ve played since moving to SW FL. The greens looked like they were part of the beach there was so much sand on them, and the rest of the course was a mess. This is in fact a VERY short course and overall was a mediocre experience. Wont be returning unless the girl in the pro shop is single? :)

Understanding that it's just a par 3 course it was still pretty shabby. Greens are atrocious except for a handful. It is challenging, bunkers are well placed, the layout is nice. If they were to work on those greens it would be a great par 3 course!!!

Good course to get rise of rust. Need to drop the green fees as well let fix those greens. Super friendly staff .

RAIN
It started pouring on the 9th hole and we could not finish. With a little break in the rain we got our clubs to the car and left.
Have to love Florida rain in the summer! We are sorry you didn't get to finish your round but certainly hope you enjoyed the holes you were able to play. Have a great day!!
