Myerlee Country Club
About
Myerlee Golf & Country Club began as the dream of a retired New York police officer who moved to Florida in the 1960s just so he could play more golf. His dream eventually became a peaceful retirement community with a beautiful 18-hole course as its centerpiece. The Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the toughest par-60 golf courses in southwest Florida. There are two streams that cut across the course and intersect on the front nine. They snake along every hole, making water the predominant hazard but there are also several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for. The golf course is mostly open with a few cypress trees dotted along the fairways and greens. Myerlee Golf & C.C. is a course that will test your skills but it isn't overly punishing, which gives it appeal for beginners as well.

Terrible greens
Greens were in terrible shape. Almost every green was patchy with dead grass or had sand on the green, terrible for putting, thank god it was a hot deal because if I knew what I was getting myself into I would not have paid anymore money for this course. It was my first and last time golfing here.
green grass was awful
they need working on green course.. very poor maintenance work. I will never play there again ever.. it was my first time there ..
Hello, u000002170991. Thank you for reviewing the course. Let us first start by apologizing that the course was in recovery conditions during your visit. The Florida rain conditions can be challenging this time of year. Your feedback about the course is important to us. Please know we will continue to work to improve our greens and experience for all. Thank you for playing Myerlee Country Club.
Excellent Executive Course-Great Value
We played Myerlee Golf Course today for the first time. It was a hot day and there were very few golfers playing, so that was terrific. We had an excellent price through Golf Now.
The Course was delightful. The holes were interesting and challenging for par 3's. The greens were not very good but could be overlooked for the price. The fairways were excellent except one hole that had a lot of water/mud.
We will definately play here again. It was fun and the time to play was excellent (2.5 hrs) on a hot summer day.
Greens need a lot of work
It's OK for an executive course. But, the greens are atrocious. No way to practice putting on greens like this. The rain make the course real soggy. I would play it again if they do a lot of work on the greens.
Greens
Played this course a number of times but have never seen the greens this bad. They were rutted, with many having very little grass. My playing partners and I decided not to take any more than a 2-put on any hole.
Swamp Myerlee
15 should be shut down. Total mess right now. Sink an inch an many putting surfaces, many fairways have inches of standing water.
Greens in Rough condition.
Many of the greens were in rough shape. Hopefully the greens will improve. The other parts of the course were in better condition. Some of the bunkers were filled with water. The course has a good layout for a par 60.
Nice layout, poor greens
The course has a very nice layout. T-box isn't fairways are in good condition. 12 out of 18 greens not even potable. Many of the cups haven't been moved in months because the grass has grown over the top of the cups and actually make them smaller. Price was good. I would have spent 20 bucks at a practice range.
Course was not crowded on Tuesday morning. Fairways and greens were good with all the rain we have had.
Layout good. Used to be fun to play
Used to enjoy playing this course, but the greens are now horrible, horrible, horrible. Very saddened to witness the course degrading to the point it has.
Worth the Money
Reasonably priced course in FL with some challenging holes and narrow fairways. Will go back again and the staff were so layed back.
Greens are horrible
The greens are in in horrible shape otherwise it would be okay.
Thank you for taking time to rate our course, u938278677! We look forward to seeing you again at Myerlee Country Club soon.
