About
Myerlee Golf & Country Club began as the dream of a retired New York police officer who moved to Florida in the 1960s just so he could play more golf. His dream eventually became a peaceful retirement community with a beautiful 18-hole course as its centerpiece. The Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the toughest par-60 golf courses in southwest Florida. There are two streams that cut across the course and intersect on the front nine. They snake along every hole, making water the predominant hazard but there are also several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for. The golf course is mostly open with a few cypress trees dotted along the fairways and greens. Myerlee Golf & C.C. is a course that will test your skills but it isn't overly punishing, which gives it appeal for beginners as well.

Tees and greens in terrible shape. This course overall needs a groundskeeper/ crew to get working
Great pace of play
Great relaxing day on the course. Wonderful weather, fairways were good, some of the greens needed a little work. Overall a fun day.
Good for a Snow Bird to warm up!
Good course to warm up on after 6 weeks of no golf up north. Greens were VERY slow, bumpy, and damaged / just dirt in some areas on 2 or 3 holes. Fairways nice, but it's an exectuive style course and a good golfer shouldnt be there! LOL
An Average Muni
First time playing this course. New to the area. I should have known when I went to the practice putting green and found it unputtable.
I teed off and soon discovered that I was playing behind a SIXSOME. The greens were unreal. Ball divots everywhere. The greens surface was about the same grass height as the fairways. The teeing areas had not been changed or cut in a week, totally trashed.
Don't waste your money. Don't play here.
Fun course
Layout is challenging. I lost a lot of balls in the lakes. Only concern I have are the fire ant mounds on tees and greens. Get an exterminator soon.
The course was good for the price. My only complaint is a very important one. The clerk in the pro shop does not wear a mask. All health care experts recommend wearing a mask, especially indoors. This should be a requirement for all employees.
Nice short course
Greens had been recently worked on but played ok. Got around in 3 hours which was nice
