About
Myerlee Golf & Country Club began as the dream of a retired New York police officer who moved to Florida in the 1960s just so he could play more golf. His dream eventually became a peaceful retirement community with a beautiful 18-hole course as its centerpiece. The Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the toughest par-60 golf courses in southwest Florida. There are two streams that cut across the course and intersect on the front nine. They snake along every hole, making water the predominant hazard but there are also several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for. The golf course is mostly open with a few cypress trees dotted along the fairways and greens. Myerlee Golf & C.C. is a course that will test your skills but it isn't overly punishing, which gives it appeal for beginners as well.

Course is nice, but...
Course is nice for a Sunday out with the wife!
Pace of play is ok could be better.
They have a problem with ants every where on tee boxes, fairways and greens! My wife and I were bitten up pretty good! Played another course few days later with no problems.
They need to get a handle on this! Every green i walked off to get in the cart, had to stop and brush off shoes full of ants! Might be back when this problem is corrected.
Just don't
Honestly I have tried to like this course. I just can't do it anymore. Staff never answers phone it always some call center. Constantly having issues with pace of play. The only good thing about the place is cheap drinks at the tiki bar wich is closed. Just like the inside bar at the club. Basically will never cone back until management changes.
It was a little muddy. The greens need a little attention.
Very wet course after rain
Course was floodedWater on just about every hole. No distance on drives or irons because fairways were saturated.
Caution,Never play this course after a heavy unexpected rain the night before.Course should have been closed for the day for drying.
Executive course with mild opstacles. Some water and some sand bunkers. Friendly staff but with covid-19 the outside bar is closed. I always enjoy myself there.
Fun & challenging
I play this course whenever I’m in Ft Myers. Other than a few spots on the course, the turf is in great shape. Layout challenges your approach shot with small greens and strategically placed trees & traps. Good place to work on your iron play.
Fun Time
We had a nice time today. Course had light golf traffic so we did not feel pressured to hurry along. Greens pretty good shape. Got lucky, no rain and about 88 degrees.
Fun course
Well maintained and simple layout. Me and my 11 yr old played here and had a great time. It's a short course but great to work on wedges and shorter irons. Greens rolled good so you can score low here
Nice Course for a Pleasant Outing
We usually play this course once or twice a year. It's always a pleasant outing. Decent pace of play and moderately difficult. Good bird viewing in the many water hazards.
