Myerlee Country Club
About
Myerlee Golf & Country Club began as the dream of a retired New York police officer who moved to Florida in the 1960s just so he could play more golf. His dream eventually became a peaceful retirement community with a beautiful 18-hole course as its centerpiece. The Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the toughest par-60 golf courses in southwest Florida. There are two streams that cut across the course and intersect on the front nine. They snake along every hole, making water the predominant hazard but there are also several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for. The golf course is mostly open with a few cypress trees dotted along the fairways and greens. Myerlee Golf & C.C. is a course that will test your skills but it isn't overly punishing, which gives it appeal for beginners as well.

Price is the only reason to play here!
Price and to practice short game is the only reason to play here. Not until we checked in and were assigned carts we were told cart path only...due to all the rain. Did not get to tee off on the 3rd tee when lighting started and it started to rain. Waited an hour and was told since in was advance booking (third party booking) that no rain checks are issued. Save your money and play somewhere else.
Dog track
Super cheap and speedy play.. is a nice place to play hooky from work for a few hours or get away from the wife, but no place to hack it with the buddies. No 19th hole can make up for the poor course conditions. I will say it is challenging with the short irons, but putting is disastrous. Would revisit just for the 150yd looks...
Not a course I would recommend
The course is very poorly maintained. Fairways are not properly manicured, there are puddles and mud throughout the course which makes some holes almost unplayable. Multiple sand traps are unkept and have now basically become ponds. The greens were all extremely patchy with many dead spots. Paid very little to play here, but would not recommend even at the low price we paid
Keep coming back
One of my favorite places to play, the staff makes this place one of my best golf outings. Thank you to all your staff.
Danger lurks
I like the course, however when you’re driving the cart on the cart paths, there are areas near the edges of the cart path that have washed away and could lead to a dangerous cart fall. The path is very narrow. Dangerous especially when entering and exiting the bridges. You must watch where you’re driving the cart. Almost ended up in a creek once. Needs maintenance. The drinks at the tiki hut are very reasonable. Very good course to hone your short game.
Beautiful course
Was a great little course. Definitely challenges your short game.
5 Stars
We just love this course, staff are always on top of things and extremely nice. One of our favorite courses.
My favorite spot
This is a fantastic place to play golf. The executive layout is fun and challenging. The pace of play is normally fast, but it’s peak season so it’s going to be busy. The best part about this course is the staff. The guys in the clubhouse are fantastic and the bar tenders are top notch.
Good course for everyone
The course was a pleasant surprise with good conditions and friendly staff. Some slow play on the front nine but the back nine was better
Slow Pace
We had a 1:52 tee time but didn't tee off until 2:05. It took 4.5 hours to play an executive course. Waiting times at some tee boxes were up to 10 minutes.
