About
Myerlee Golf & Country Club began as the dream of a retired New York police officer who moved to Florida in the 1960s just so he could play more golf. His dream eventually became a peaceful retirement community with a beautiful 18-hole course as its centerpiece. The Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the toughest par-60 golf courses in southwest Florida. There are two streams that cut across the course and intersect on the front nine. They snake along every hole, making water the predominant hazard but there are also several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for. The golf course is mostly open with a few cypress trees dotted along the fairways and greens. Myerlee Golf & C.C. is a course that will test your skills but it isn't overly punishing, which gives it appeal for beginners as well.

Course could be better condition fairways where ok greens should be taken care of better.
This course is a good par three course!
i like the course for the par 3’s ! I am a 2 handicap and the course plays very nicely if you want to practice your short game and your irons ...greens run about 9 when I played, conditions are good and are improving, sand traps were all raked, in my opinion like I said good practice. Grass was mowed. On some days it has a 19 hole outside and reasonable!
Short affair
Myerlee Course is a Par 60 with only Par 3 (12) and Par 4 (6) holes. The greens were well maintained as well as the fairways. The tee boxes could use some maintenance. There are 4 tees for every kind of golfer. With 3 players in our group we needed less than 2.45 hours even though we had to wait from the 10th hole onward for a foursome.

Caution - This is not a "normal" golf-course
That was the worst golfing experience we've ever had.
1. For the price we expected a normal golf course.
It's not a golf course, it's just a training course. Only Par 3 and a few Par 4.
2. By the time we got there, there were already 15 golf carts in the queue. We drove away again and came back again later.
3. The tees were partially in a terrible condition.
Since it is such an easy golf course, only bad and very bad golfers play there. We had to wait 15 minutes or more at each hole until we could finally tee off. It looked like most golfers there have never been to a trainer before.
That was a waste of time. We cancelled the round after 12 holes.

Thank you so much for your review and feedback of Myerlee! For clarity, Myerlee is a per 60 executive golf course. We are unsure of what a "training course" is but we have never been labeled as such. Our course website and GolfAdvisor do notate that we are a par 60 executive course so I apologize if you did not see that. We remember you and your wife well and recall you visiting the facility 25 mins prior to your tee time. While we love this and thank you for your punctuality, we do need to ensure our golfers tee off at the correct times. I am sorry that we could not squeeze you out earlier but we are entering our busy time of year. We hope you have a spectacular time while here in the Ft. Myers area. We have so many great courses that I am sure you will love! Slightly more expensive than us but fantastic all the same. All the best!
.Decent short course for the money.
Good short course with friendly staff. Greens were a bit hairy, tee boxes a bit rough, but pace of play was good and good value for the green fees.

Very laid back course. Greens are pretty bad but fairways good. We just love playing this course because of the friendly players and staff
Still My Favorite
This is still my favorite course, we love the staff from Pro Shop to the Tiki. We always stop in at Tiki before the back nine and enjoy a cold one and friendly environment. Great course we just love and golf at least once a week here.
