Myerlee Country Club
About
Myerlee Golf & Country Club began as the dream of a retired New York police officer who moved to Florida in the 1960s just so he could play more golf. His dream eventually became a peaceful retirement community with a beautiful 18-hole course as its centerpiece. The Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the toughest par-60 golf courses in southwest Florida. There are two streams that cut across the course and intersect on the front nine. They snake along every hole, making water the predominant hazard but there are also several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for. The golf course is mostly open with a few cypress trees dotted along the fairways and greens. Myerlee Golf & C.C. is a course that will test your skills but it isn't overly punishing, which gives it appeal for beginners as well.

Long wait
The lastseveral times we have played this course, we had a long wait for carts.
Interesting layout
I felt I got a good deal through Golf Now so I certainly got value for my purchase ($20 for 18 holes with cart). The pace of play on the first nine was awful. It took us (party of 4) 2 1/2 hours to play the first nine holes and this is for a par 29. We waited over 30 minutes on the 8th tee. Once we got to the back nine, the course was wide open and finished the back nine in just over an hour. This should be a 2/12 to 3 hour track. Don’t come here if you are in a hurry. Total time to play was 3 1/2 hours. Greens were well kept but very slow. Sand rack for traps is in your cart- new experience for me.
In season good value for money
Played here several times had to start on back nine and was a little slow. All in all a good day on the course . Greens are nice and green but slow today
Fun day.
Fun day. Course is actually a challenging three star so bring some accurate shots. Little slow but worth the money.
A Good Practice Course
This is a good course for beginners and those who want to work on their short game. The greens are in good shape. A nice course to play.
slow play
only could finish 14 holes very slow decent course for the money
Mike and Mike
Had a good time at Myerlee. They did not receive my prepaid Golf Now tee time reservation. Lucky for me I was able to show them my confirmation on my cell phone.
Slow pace of play
Everthing was fine except pace of play was very slow. Four hours plus is too long for an executive course.
nice course
Easy par 60 course. They have repaired greens and cleaned up shrubbery. It makes for a nice easy play. Backed up to start but once we did the play went well.
Thank goodness for a nice day
Played here before, 3.5 hours to play 18 holes . Could have been quicker on the front 9 pace of play but it was a busy day on the course!
Slow play
Don't book a round there unless your ready to wait
