Myerlee Country Club
About
Myerlee Golf & Country Club began as the dream of a retired New York police officer who moved to Florida in the 1960s just so he could play more golf. His dream eventually became a peaceful retirement community with a beautiful 18-hole course as its centerpiece. The Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the toughest par-60 golf courses in southwest Florida. There are two streams that cut across the course and intersect on the front nine. They snake along every hole, making water the predominant hazard but there are also several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for. The golf course is mostly open with a few cypress trees dotted along the fairways and greens. Myerlee Golf & C.C. is a course that will test your skills but it isn't overly punishing, which gives it appeal for beginners as well.

good executive course
The conditions of greens, fairways and tee boxes were e good and we had a fun day.
I’ll be Back!
Very good executive course with a challenging layout. It was a little slow but fun. I’m going back.
Pace ofplay
Pace of play very slow. At least 1/2 hour past scheduled tee time before starting
Beautiful day in Southwest Florida
It was a great day on the course. Teamed up with a very nice couple. Pace was a little slow.
Kathy
It was a fun day. Course is in good shape. Nice place to practice. Executive course with a nice tiki
bar. The food & drink was delicious & the bar maid Gayle was super nice.
Not as tight as other executive courses!
Good 3 /4 par , excellent time to get out those wedges! Challenging pin placements!
Bad day
We like playing this par 3 course but they severely over booked today. Carts weren’t available and many people were waiting. We finally were able to tee off about 20 minutes late but the pace was very slow with lots of wait time. It took us more than 4.5 hours to play 18. Hopefully, this was just a rare occurrence because people were sure complaining.
Some challenging features
This is an executive course . Though short it has some long holes with with challenges. Fun course to play.
Fun little layout but not the best kept track...
From the moment maga Moe read us the riot act about our coming in the wrong way to the driveway and how he hated the Senator from our proud State, we hoped the golfing would be better than the greeting. The pro shop was luke warm and the place is a bit rundown however the price point for January in SW Fla was intriguing and the layout of the course offered a mix of some fun and challenge. You get what you pay for...
Fun
I have been golfing there every other week with a friend of mine who just started golfing a year ago love this course good mix of par 4s and par 3s but what I really like are the greens are challenging love being able to at the turn. There is a very nice stand with beers and hotdogs without having to go inside. They take really good care of you. There will continue to golf there.
Too many players
Long wait on every tee.
When there aren’t enough golf carts, you know there are too many players crammed on to the course.
4+ hours for a short course is ridiculous
Small executive course
Not a bad course for the money. Very small so for a woman I liked it.
