Myerlee Country Club
About
Myerlee Golf & Country Club began as the dream of a retired New York police officer who moved to Florida in the 1960s just so he could play more golf. His dream eventually became a peaceful retirement community with a beautiful 18-hole course as its centerpiece. The Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the toughest par-60 golf courses in southwest Florida. There are two streams that cut across the course and intersect on the front nine. They snake along every hole, making water the predominant hazard but there are also several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for. The golf course is mostly open with a few cypress trees dotted along the fairways and greens. Myerlee Golf & C.C. is a course that will test your skills but it isn't overly punishing, which gives it appeal for beginners as well.

It's ok
Conditions are middle of the road. Pace is slow- sometimes 2 groups waiting on the tee box. Starter is not real friendly.
Good budget course, slow pace in season
Good budget course greens are in good shape. Slow pace of play in season. Overbooked or not enforced. 4 hours for executive course
Great for Iron workout
If you’re looking to work on irons and short game this is the place . Greens are true and fast as well.
Great day!
We enjoyed our afternoon! Course was in great shape. Great price to play!
Very slow play
We play this course on a regular basis and normally do not have any issues. The past few times we have played, the pace of play has been HORRIBLE.
It started when we arrived and, at our tee time, we were told there were 3 other groups still ahead of us. Got started almost 30 minutes late and had to wait on every hole. The starter was very terse (he put our clubs on our cart and then scolded me because I pulled the cart up to go pay). When we got done, there were several groups standing around waiting for carts to return.
I have been one time since and it was the same story. Most holes had 2 groups waiting to tee off when we pulled up.
Nice executive course.
Well maintained for the amount of play it gets, and it is a fun and challenging course. Fast becoming my go to course in the area.
Nice little course
First advice, get an early tee time. If you wait past 11:30am, they are out of carts and typically run 20 min. or more behind. Pace is pretty slow which is typical of most executive courses. You have to be a little patient as the average age of the golfers is probably around 75. Course is in pretty good shape and has some challenging holes many with water.
Overall, good course for seniors and beginners or someone wanting to work on your iron game.
