All around great course
Compliments to BREC for fine job keeping this course in great shape through a wet summer. Wet spots kept carts on path today and sand packed down, but fairways and greens first rate. Whenever fall gets here and course dries out, it should be a 6-star experience.

Beaver Creek is the best value in Baton Rouge
Beaver Creek is currently in really good shape despite the hot weather. Greens were a little slow, but rolled fairly true. A few dead spots around the green, but nothing terrible. Fairways in really good shape and they have rough but was not too hard to play out of. Layout is really good, perfect course for the beginner but still has challenging shots for more advanced players. A couple things that I wish they could add is more yardage markers and a beverage cart on the course. Staff is always friendly.
Hot time in the summertime
Yes it was hot and humid. But expect nothing less in south Louisiana its mid July folks. We didn’t see beavers but we did see fast smooth greens and great overall course conditions.
Please hire a drink cart girl/boy , if just for the ice.

Good overall condition. Friendly staff. Everything you need for an afternoon round.
Amazing course!
The course layout was absolutely gorgeous, not to mention the shape the golf course was in was fantastic. The staff inside the proshop were a little unfriendly. Girl behind the counter never greeted us, playing on her phone and gave me a death stare when I asked can I check in. Other than that everyone else was nice.
Course Condition
I Played the Course on Father's Day and it's in Great Shape and Would be a Great Place to Play !!!
