Fun Layout
I played this course several years ago and found that the layout was very fun for a low handicapper with a mix of challenging holes and go for it holes. THe back nine wa particularly fun starting with 10 (a driveable par 4) and short par 5, followed by 12-16 which are all challenging to a low handicapper. The course was in immaculate shape. Although the greens could have been a little faster. The green complexes are particularly challenging on long putts. I really enjoyed the course.
Beaver creek
Course in great shape, will go play again real soon
Great Course! Great Shape! Awesome Value!
This course is absolutely awesome! The condition of the course was impeccable! Top notch! The staff was great! Greens were GREAT! BREC has a gem here. I will absolutely return! I had my best round of the year on this course.
Another great experience
Played on a Monday with my just starting 13 year old son. Staff was super friendly to my son and myself. Course is in great condition! This is a super value. The only course close by that's in this good of shape is the Bluffs, and the green fees there are $75. This is an extremely great value. Not a cheap course by any means, but with their normal green fee at $35, it's a bargain. I would highly recommend!
Excellent Course Conditions
Played after a bit of a rain storm so it was a little damp but the course is in outstanding condition right now. Great value. Even after the rain the greens kept their speed. Fairways are in great shape. A couple of tee boxes are just okay but overall good. Definitely a solid place to play in Baton Rouge area.
Great Course
Beautiful public golf course. Great fairways smooth greens. Very well run and maintained. Playing from the purples was very challenging on the back 9. Overall great course and we will return.
Great "Hot Deal"
Beaver Creak is a very good public course. The course was in great condition for a hot, hot middle of the day tee time in late July. Hydrate, soak a cooling towel in the cart cooler, park in the shade whenever possible, and enjoy!
Great value
Excellent layout, greens fast but fair. This is a wonderful golf course with five tee options. Fairways in great shape. One drawback: No sand in the traps. This was the case the first time I played there, in the winter. Traps are rock hard and in some cases unplayable.
Course in good shape. Greens rolled very well and in good shape for the most part. Traps (I played out of 10) had a hard bottom and shallow sand except for a couple.
Great Course!
Love this golf course. Great value for the money. Like the layout. Was in great shape.
Great layout...horrible pace of play
I love this course, layout is great. Greens are still in transition from winter, but fairways were good. Need more sand in bunkers. Biggest compliant from our last round was playing behind a threesome that took forever. They took multiple shots and didn't attempt to waive us through.

Had a Great Round had 4 Birdies !!!
I am Looking forward to Playing it Again !!!
Will play again
The course was in excellent condition with the exception that the greens must have been sanded weeks back so while very good I expect next time I play they should be in great condition. I highly recommend playing.
Good Course, over price
The course was in good condition but over price $52.
Love the course
Nature based course, few holes near roads or highway. Love the course.
Fun and scenic course
I played Beaver Creek in April of 2017 and the course was in great shape for this time of year. The fairways could use some water but the greens and tee boxes were fine. This is not the most difficult course in or around Baton Rouge but can be challenging when the wind blows. Two of the four par fives are reachable in two from the blue tees even for senior golfers like me. I would recommend this course to both high and low handicap golfer.
Great Hot Deal
Booked a Hot Deal and paid $12:00 each for green fee and cart for the round on a Wed. I usually pay $50 on weekend for this course. Great Bargain. This course has an excellent driving range, putting green, and chipping green with trap for all the practice you could want.
