Club at Hidden Creek, The
About
The Club at Hidden Creek is one of northwest Florida's most treasured courses. Opened in 1988, it is still relatively young but it has built its reputation on it its well manicured greens and lush landscaping. A few years after opening, a local newspaper ranked it the best golf course in northwest Florida. The course features tree-lined fairways that tumble across scenic rolling terrain. The challenging golf course once served as a host site for the US Open Qualifying Rounds. Water hazards come into play as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Although seasoned golfers are kept on their toes, the layout is more still approachable thank to four different sets of tees. The Club at Hidden Creek has a longstanding reputation amongst the local community and many would consider a visit to the Emerald Coast incomplete without it.

BEST COURSE IN AREA
I have played most the Pensacola area courses and this is by far the best. New greens 4 years ago and still rolling great. This is a must play if you are in the area.
Loved it
First time playing Hidden Creek while on vacation. Great overall experience. Great staff, course was absolutely beautiful and in fantastic shape. Wish I had courses like this to play on a regular basis. Am planning on coming back next year to play a couple times while I am there. Two thumbs up all the way. Thanks for the experience
Like an old friend
The Club at Hidden Creek is one of my favorite golf venues when I’m at my condo. I play several times a year and the course is always in good shape. Despite some excessive rainfall due to hurricanes this fall, the course maintenance staff have done a heroic job in remediation and keep the fairways and greens well groomed. The layout is full of tricks and you must play with precision and focus. This is an excellent test of anyone’s skills, so get out and enjoy it!
Short, but fun.
This course is pretty short and not especially difficult even though there is OB on many holes. It was in great shape for our round and even with a ton of players on the course we got done in about 4:15 as a foursome, which is about as quick as could be expected. Fairways and rough were in great shape. Bunkers were mostly good though some areas look like they've collected water recently. There were also a few low lying spots that were pooling up to create some non hazard water hazards. I think this has been the case for as long as I can remember here. The greens were almost universally flawless less one with a touch of damage and one that was obviously vandalized (car did donuts on it... ugh) at some point, but mostly recovered.
This course is well laid out
This course is a hidden gem. I booked my round as a hot deal for one golfer and was put in a foursome with three great guys who were much better golfers than I am. My ego kept me on the same tee box with them which was a mistake. 18 handicappers should play the gold tees not the white. I would recommend this course as a great place to play.
Friendly staff/great condition
This golf course is pretty much always in great shape, fairways and greens. The pro shop staff was very accommodating and gave me a great deal on shoes (I forgot mine). Not to mention the hilarious cart GUY! Would play this course more often if I lived closer. Def recommend this course to anyone and everyone.
Great course fo all players
Course is set up to allow all players a good challenge. Super good grass on fairways and greens.
KC golfer
Enjoyed 10 day vacation in the Pensacola area in late September. Played 4 rounds at 4 area courses. The Club at Hidden Creek was by far my most enjoyable. The course was in perfect playing condition. From tee to green, you could tell that these folks know what there doing. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this course. If your anywhere near this area don't miss it.
Excellent golf course! Greens are so good makes it hard to play other greens
Great course
Hidden Creek is a first rate course. It is challenging, well maintained, and fairly priced.
Very challenging for a beginner
Greens excellent, fairways in great shape. Plenty of sand traps and some water hazards to deal with. Great course it was a lil busy for a Monday at noon though.
Nice not overly challenging course
Good course to play. Not an extremely hard course so fun to play course in very good shape except hole 8 with lake water spilling onto fairway. Enjoyed playing and will play there again
Wife's bday golf
Took the wife for her birthday. She takes lessons at hidden creek but had never golfed the course. The course was in excellent shape. Fast greens made it challenging. Overall great day. We even ran into her golf instructor.
Water, water, water
There is standing water all over this course making a number of bunkers and holes unplayable. It won't drain because they have flooded it themselves. The maintainence staff and service staff are excellent as is the greens and fairways. It's a shame the management staff are doing little to help solve the problem. Can't give this course a excellent because of water issues.
