Club at Hidden Creek, The
About
The Club at Hidden Creek is one of northwest Florida's most treasured courses. Opened in 1988, it is still relatively young but it has built its reputation on it its well manicured greens and lush landscaping. A few years after opening, a local newspaper ranked it the best golf course in northwest Florida. The course features tree-lined fairways that tumble across scenic rolling terrain. The challenging golf course once served as a host site for the US Open Qualifying Rounds. Water hazards come into play as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Although seasoned golfers are kept on their toes, the layout is more still approachable thank to four different sets of tees. The Club at Hidden Creek has a longstanding reputation amongst the local community and many would consider a visit to the Emerald Coast incomplete without it.

Windy but fun.
Nice layout, greens rolled great. Wind made it more challenging. Need to play course management but a little forgiving. Definitely will be coming back.
worth your while
Not convenient to get to, but worth the time and drive. Course is in excellent condition. Plenty of risk and rewards. Really can't find fault...will return.
Nice Layout, Enjoyable round
Overall, I enjoyed the course and the layout. The hardest part was reading the greens. I was reading way more break than there actually was. So were the guys I was playing with. The pace of play was ok for a Saturday AM...The course condition was pretty good. Over all a nice round and a value for the weekend...
Great Course! Even better value!
Course was in great shape, especially since there was a tournament played there the day prior. Greens were fast and the fairways trimmed perfectly! I had a great time playing, will definitely be back.
A great place
Course is always in great shape. A great time was had by all in the group.
Great Challenge. Great layout.
You have everything in this course from a design layout. Each hole is different and you have multiple ways to play them. Pace of play was good I think due to the holes and driving areas being generous. Driving range area was okay as well. Course was in good condition. Greens were in excellent condition. I have played this course for the first time 30 years ago and being from out of town, it was a pleasure to play again. Make it a must stop on your golf journey.
Best Condition
I play a lot of golf in the panhandle every year. There are no courses, including the big money Destin courses that are in better shape than this course. I've almost quit playing the others due to there poor condo and pace of play.
Staff is always friendly and have cart girls going all day.
You won't find a better value in the panhandle.
Challenging, yet fair layout.
Fun course to play. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Greens were hard and fast though. Multiple tee box options. The only negative were the "regulars", or members I suppose, who jumped in on the back nine in front and behind our group on and we're pushing us even though we had slow play ahead of us. Played the front nine in 1:45 and the back nine in 2:30. Big disparity. Saw Ranger periodically on the front, didn't see him on the back. The course also didn't have any lunch options at the turn other than chips and candy bars.
Great layout.
The fairways and greens were in excellent condition and the fairway bunkers could be challenging. This course is a great "bang for your buck" value. I intend to play here a few more times in the next two weeks.
Hidden Creek
Fun course, played in 4hrs and had no waiting. The greens were smooth and fast, nice!
Challenging course - Great value
Hidden Creek is a nice challenge for all levels of golfers. Not terribly long but course management and shot placement make all the difference in success and disaster. Greens need to be softer to hold shots and reward your pitches, but otherwise the course is well maintained and consistent.
Great golf course & nice greens
We really enjoyed this course. The greens were very nice and everything seemed well-maintained. They could use a marshal as we got backed up a time or two, but other than that we had a great experience. I would definitely recommend it.
Almost very good
We had a good day at this course and it could have been special except for the pace of play. The course has improved greatly over the past few years and the greens were outstanding. Pace of play was mentioned in several reviews I saw before booking but wanted to give the course another chance. Everything was fine until the second hole when we found a group of 5 local golfers playing together. I stopped a ranger several holes into the round and he said they "sometimes" allow 5 to go in the afternoon.
Snowbird
First time playing this Winter. Found course to be in best shape from past years. Will play more times during our stay.
