Club at Hidden Creek, The
About
The Club at Hidden Creek is one of northwest Florida's most treasured courses. Opened in 1988, it is still relatively young but it has built its reputation on it its well manicured greens and lush landscaping. A few years after opening, a local newspaper ranked it the best golf course in northwest Florida. The course features tree-lined fairways that tumble across scenic rolling terrain. The challenging golf course once served as a host site for the US Open Qualifying Rounds. Water hazards come into play as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Although seasoned golfers are kept on their toes, the layout is more still approachable thank to four different sets of tees. The Club at Hidden Creek has a longstanding reputation amongst the local community and many would consider a visit to the Emerald Coast incomplete without it.

Favorite Navarre course
I like the course layout and prefer it to Tiger Point. However, the greens had not faired the winter well. I hope they have come back.
Great golf course.
Hidden Creek Golf course in my opion is one of the nicest courses on the Emarld coast since they finished the greens. Althou their are still some flooding issues after a 3 or 4 day rain storm which understandable they are fixing those issues also, I highly reccomend this golf course.
From the moment you arrive you know this is going to be special
Nothing but praise can be laid at this door
We encountered professional competence throughout our visit
The course was a delight to play and very we'll presented.
The food and service was VG
Super hard greens
Hidden Creek is a beautiful golf course and not too long for most people to enjoy playing. The course is still pretty wet from all the past rain, so most shots that land short of the green will stick in the false front. The greens are in great shape, but are probably the hardest greens in the area due to being new. They are rolling very well and not as fast as they are hard.
nice layout, great condition
Overall the fairways, greens, and tee boxes are in great shape except one tee box on a par 3 is humped and is a bit chewed up. The greens are new and as such if you can't put backspin on the ball on your approach shot then you are better off hitting short of the green and letting the ball roll on. Very difficult to hit the green and get the ball to hold. They're very fast in that regard. Contrarily, as for putting once you're on, the greens' surfaces although hard, are not as fast as they first appear to the eye. Overall a fine course for an enjoyable round of golf.
Great Course
I play this course pretty regularly. It is one of my favorites in the Pensacola area. Since the greens have been redone and it has passed to new owners, it is better kept than ever.
The greens play fast and provide a challenge to rather new player like me. Not the toughest course around but it definitely makes you think about how you want to play some holes.
This course is always in great condition!
I always like playing this course and will again, but the greens seemed a bit hard, maybe due to getting them back in shape from months back? The fairways and bunkers are always perfect. This is definitely one of the courses in the area that my friends and I rate very high, and always look forward to playing!
Thank you
The course was well maintained.
The course is in good shape. Greens are very firm but putting is true.
Great lay out!
The course is challenging but not unfair. The fairways are excellent, but because of so much rain, the greens were slow. Overall, we had a great time.
Love this course. Play whenever we're in the area.
As much as we love this course and feel it is kept in good condition, we have one complaint. Rental clubs......
Oh my. We brought along another couple who are great golfers. They flew to the area and did not bring clubs. The women's clubs were not good BUT the men's clubs were ridiculous. He rec'd 3 wedges, two 6 irons, a 5 iron and a driver that looked like it had been run over. This guy is not a complainer and we didn't notice what he had been given until we were teeing off. Admittedly, the rental fee is not high, however, no clubs would have been better than what he rented. He ended up using my husbands and some of mine the entire round.
As I mentioned, we do LOVE this course, just be wary of renting clubs here. Don't.
Greens were slow and some had some bare spots.
The course was in better shape than the last time I played it, two years ago. There are a few interesting hole and a few that are straight away with few obsticles .
Cart girl left at 2pm. Course was still full.
Average pace of place. Started alone but paired up at the turn. Cart girl left at 2pm. Course was still full.
The new flagsticks are great!
The greens are definitely improved, especially since they have had time to dry out a little bit. The course is looking awesome!
Very nice staff and beautiful course
We enjoy the game ,very nice layout and the entire staff we meet aware all friendly. Please add more drinking water jug
Excellent course
Course is in great condition. Greens are very well maintained and roll smooth. Whites tee boxes play a little short for my game, but the gold boxes are just right for my game. Fairways are in great shape as well as the greens. The price you get through GOLF NOW is by far worth going and playing. I will play this course over and over. I have played Country Clubs that were not as well maintained than this course. Would definitely recommend playing a round at this course, you will not be disappointed.
Played many times in the past, new greens are still hard and roll out more making some shots a bit more tough
Newly redone greens require 1/2 to a full club less it seemed, slight adjustment to a familiar layout. Fairly open, although from the back if you happen to hit it crooked that day you might find more trouble than what it looks like. Very friendly from forward tees.
Course is challenging, but players are totally uncontrolled.
Many fairways are fairly narrow and many fairways/greens are hidden from others. Several challenging holes with some good water hazards. Course of play crosses main streets in 4-5 locations, but nothing hazardous. Course was pretty soggy because of heavy rains recently. Only problem I had was people jumping around the course and cutting in front of me on 4 different occasions. Started #1 following a single player and on an early hole came out of a blind fairway to the next tee to find a 4some teeing off. Had some discussions with them and ended up going in front of them. This happened 3 more times before I gave up and quit on number 16. I will not be going back to this course. Too many other good courses in the area where golf etiquette is followed. I did report it as I was leaving.
Still needs work
While I enjoy playing this course, there are a few things that turn me off. 1- the members. The staff is fine, but the members will just drive on the course, skip a couple holes and start to play where they see fit. Then they play slower than Kevin Na at a Major. 2- this course has major draining issues. Sand traps were full of water, rough off the fairway was a muddy saturated mess. My biggest issue is the members, I played 6 holes in 1hr 50m on Friday, in the early afternoon. They're also incredibly rude, and pretty much seem to think they're the only thing that exists.
Great course
With all the recent rain, the fairways and rough are lush and in great shape. The greens are the best you will find on the panhandle. The course is a little flooded on a few holes on the front, but should be fine once it dries up in a week. Hard to find a better course in the area for the money.
