About
Bear Creek Golf Club's East Course is considered a tad more difficult than the West, with tighter fairways and smaller greens. Fourteen of 18 holes dogleg, so its label as a target course is accurate. Elevation changes make club selection a challenge, and the par 5s are tough to reach in two. No. 5 stands out on the front: a 385-yarder that doglegs left and involves an approach over water. No. 8 is longer (418 yards) and features water in the fairway landing area and along the right side. On the back, no. 15 is the signature, playing 432 yards and tricky because of the blind approach shot.

East Course 8/4
This course is in really good shape for the middle of summer and for the cost to play. Definitely one of the best public courses in the DFW area in terms of what you get for the price.
Great
This year the east course has been almost perfect. Few spots but for the money it is a great course. I have started playing more and this is my go to course. Great play, gives a piece of everything you want on a course. Marshal is at hole one encouraging good pace of play. You get use to the planes, I enjoy watching them flyby.
Greens
Greens are in very bad shape shouldn’t pay full price for that
Bear Creek West was nice
Played the blue tees with the three young guys I got paired with. It’s always fun to play with guys who out drive me. Y 100 yards, but still score better! It’s an interesting and complex track.

No mention they punched the greens and sanded…..poor PR if you want golfers to return…pathetic….paid for 18…stopped after nine
Greens
The course is in good condition the only thing was the greens were air rated 3 days before so the greens were slow and just a little bumpy. They said they should be prestine in a week

Great course. Good price. One mistake. $80 for rental clubs is a bit much. 40-50$ is good. Definitely not great for traveling clients who don't have their clubs. Burned $250 in rentals today. Easy fix. Otherwise offer premium clubs for the 80. Not your only style. Outside of that. Love the course.

Bear Creek East was darn good
Actually played here something like 20 years ago so it was still all new to me. Lots of interesting and challenging holes. Some but few and far between bare spots on the fairways. Greens in excellent condition.
One of the best.
Condition of east course was excellent. Layout is fun and attention getting with trees and back drop. Price point to play this course is outstanding, will plat it again , no doubt.
Great course messed up by slowwww play
Was excited to get a tee time on a holiday weekend. Course in good shape. Amenities and people all good. Slow play made it miserable.
This course was a challenge.
I’m glad that I chose this Bear Creek, out of so many and I will choose it again whenever I visit Irving Texas again. Staff were extremely friendly.
Hidden gem
Took me 24 years to finally get in this course. Played the East course. Very well kept, good pace of play, if you stayed in the fairway , it was a nice track. If you went into the rough, and or trees, you got hammered. . Will definitely play again.
