Great course and value for your money.
We arrived early and accommodated the starter by going out early. He was very friendly and appreciative even though we felt a bit rushed. The course was in very good shape especially for mid-February. We found it challenging but fair. We had a great day and are booked to return next week.
Very challenging, great track
This course has some very challenging holes. The track is great with elevated tees and greens. Well worth the money.
Course is somewhat challenging.
First three holes are challenging and can cause someone to loose faith for remainder of round. Most holes are tight but scenic in a way.
Great course what a back nine holes
Had a great day from practice to lunch and round of golf great value for money greens were good and as I said last nine holes superb you will enjoy.
Course has got better since last year
Played 10days ago course was in great condison practice area had improved the staff are always friendly and great to see some one the course speeding up play the back nine holes are as good as you will pay in Florida.
Good 'n tight
The course is in nice condition. The greens are quick, but have many subtle undulations. The back nine is a great layout, but the front nine is so tight that unless you are a straight and accurate hitter, frustration will replace your enthusiasm. If the nines were reversed, I believe the round would be more enjoyable. I would recommend this course only to straight hitters, or those not easily frustrated by a legitimate challenge.
Tight but playable with plenty of traps
The course was tight in many places but playable. Most of the greens are protected by many traps. The course was in good shape but a few of the greens were on the rough side.
A shotmakers course,a must to hit the driver straight
The first 3 holes are very tight, there is more forgiveness off the tee for the next 15 holes. I loved the rugged atmosphere and the variety of topography, greens were very playable.
Slow due to lots of players losing balls
Interesting course I would play it again early morning. To many players looking for golf balls which makes this course slow, if you like to play in 3 -4 hrs go somewhere else. Had a couple of balls land close to us from other tees, prefer a course with a bit more room between holes.
first holes start weak but gets very good after about hole 5.
It is great to play course that is not lined with houses on both sides of the fairway. I really like the course and people who operate it.
I really liked the course layout.
Of the courses we have played this course had the best layout of holes as far as challenging and easy. Not a wide open track but plenty of room to hit the ball. The fairways were like concrete which I understand is typical of February. Cannot afford to hit the ball the slightest bit fat since your club will bounce into the ball. Greens were decent but showed signs of a lack of watering. Very good course to play at the right price. My opinion its a good $35 course not a $55 course.
Good value, well laid out , tough
We have played this course a few times recently due to the new management's competitive pricing policy. If you don't hit straight take plenty of golf balls. A nicely varied course, many good looking holes and no housing in or around the course.
Old, but friendly club house. A pity it closes around 4pm as the bar has an open area overlooking the last few holes.
Challenging and good value.
The staff was friendly, course challenging, reasonably priced. Saw some Florida wildlife.
A great value!
I enjoyed playing Diamondback Golf Course. It's a quality and challenging course at a reasonable rate.
Lovely course in a natural surrounding
The course is a real test of golf set in 'jungle' surroundings. the pace of play was good although the course was full and the marshall kept us informed but not pressurised. The starter, pro shop and restaurant were super friendly. This is a course worth making the drive out of town every time. We are already booked for another round.
Very nice golf course for the low handicap and the high handicap. It is player friendly
Inside and outside staff were very friendly throughout the entire visit. Check in was very quick and efficient. Starter was very knowledgeable of the golf course and made some suggestions based on our players ability. The only downside to the day was after nine holes for those who stopped (our group included) for a snack and beverage the staff at the snack bar (still very friendly) lacked organization in trying to get us served and right back out to number 10. This created a backup at the 10th tee which eventually cleared itself up by hole number 12. Granted they had some people dining inside after their round was complete that were being served at the time of our group coming in after number 9 however they should have directed one of the servers to wait on us instead of continuing to utilize both servers at one group table.
VERY tight tree lined course. Bring extra balls!
Excellent layout, but very tight.Practise green was excellent. The rest of the greens had maintenance problems.Putting speed was fast for winter time. Some tee decks are too small and showed some wear.Fairways are in good shape. Overall a great course and I would gladly play again.
Loved the experience of a good typical Florida course
Excellent course for snow birds. Very Florida with jungle areas and lakes. No fancy clubhouse but friendly and accommodating staff. Very playable though a little tight and great opportunities to view the occassional snake or gator. See the the real non-commercial Florida on the drive to the course.
Challenging course, better suited to low handicappers – very pretty
We were charged the tax again. So if you get a deal that includes your taxes remember to take your paper work!!!! That was the only down side of this friendly, pretty and challenging course with alligators. My wife is a high handicapper and found it too difficult but she was still pleased she played. A good game for low handicappers
