First time playing the course after looking forward to playing it. Tee boxes were dry and sparse and very hard to place a tee. Rest of the course was in good condition.

Nice Course
Enjoyed my round very well, staff was nice and very helpful. Enjoyed the layout of course and greens appeared to be well kept up. Definitely planned on going again to play another round.

Love the course. but punched greens wet water filled bunkers and fairways. just wasnt a great weekended to go play
Greens condition
The greens conditions kinda bumpy and sandy
The pace so slow need more then 3 hours and 40 minutes finished 18 holes. 🥵
Course needs a break
Course needs a break for a week or two. It’s been overplayed and just kinda feels worn out right now.
Great public course
Santa Maria Golf Course is a great public course with an almost Resort feel. It is a challenging Robert Trent Jones designed course. The greens are in great shape as well as the bunkers and fairways. The staff at SM are very friendly and helpful. The grill and bar are closed and that is my only complaint. I have played here many times and love this course.

Solid course in good shape great lay out fast. Tricky greens great place to play around in Golf.
The Beauty of SM
Wonderful to play. Fast paced. Loved the layout. Lots of beautiful landscapes. Saw some home owners doing major upgrades to back lawns budding up to ponds. Nice bayou running along part of course.
