Although dormant the fairways were mostly full . . . greens were in above average condition for winter. Windy . . . but typical for Millstone Overall great condition for February

Played Millstone for the first time this week and had a great time. The course is moderately easy. The roughs are thick Bermuda that can be tough to play, but the course was in good condition overall. The greens were incredibly fast.

Millstone is located next to a small local airport, and while the sounds may bother some people, we enjoyed the small prop planes practicing their touch and go landings. There is also a train that runs beside the course. One in our group won unofficial longest drive after slicing his tee shot. The ball landed in a coal car and as far as we know is still going.

I personally preferred the front nine to the back nine. The flow of the course just seemed better. The back nine almost started to feel a little redundant.

I look forward to playing Millstone again. I will go back!

PS I highly recommend a hamburger at the 19th hole!

This course is still green even though the cold has already set in the the grill has the best food!

Course in excellent shape. It had been raining for several days but the fairways were so lush and the greens so smooth it was a good experience.

great course easy to keep ball in play. greens were the best any where in the area.

One of the best options to the East of Knoxville. I've played there only once or twice a year on my tour of East Tennessee courses, but only because I like variety. Greens in good shape and hold balls well. It tends to build up fallen leaves in the autumn which doesn't help finding balls in the first cut of rough, but thankfully I usually am straight off the tee.

Greens were in great shape. The fairway was in good shape.

If you have never played this course I would recommend a hand held GPS unit... Blind shots with water plus it will help with the rest of course layout... I like playing here, fast fairways, fast greens and the rough is fair.

Millstone is a challenge, its a great course to play with friends and a good outing for any level of player. Enjoyed the day and the personnel are very friendly.

Have only been to a few courses near here, and this is the best one so far. Greens were almost perfect condition. Not a lot of hazards or really tough shots. I lost 0 balls on this course, and that is really good for me.

This is a classic track. Good Bent Grass greens and a challenging layout. Traps are a mess. Most of the fairways are pretty nice, some are overrun with crabgrass. Cart paths are a disaster and carts are in need of upgrade. Overall a good course but needs a fund injection. It's just getting old I guess.

Driving range shutdown when we got there an hour early. Went to another range. When we got back it was open. Course had some rough brown fairway spots. Greens were fine. Play was slow due to slow players 1 and 2 holes in front of us.

We played on Friday 7/25/2014. The sign outside the front door says "six pack beer $12.00". We did not question the girl when she charged us $14.00. We played again on Tuesday 7/29/2014. We decided to ask the girl prior to purchasing the beer "How much is a six pack of beer?". She said $14.00, so we took her outside and showed her the sign. We went back inside and when she gave us the ticket for the beer it said $14.00. When asked how come she said "Because that's how much it is". THATS BAD BUSINESS. Bunkers were in terrible shape and were unplayable. We won't be back.

We played 18 holes on July 4th and the weather was perfect! The greens were really smooth. The fairways had suffered from winter-kill and are just starting to recover but this really didn't hinder our play at all. The staff is extremely friendly and the pace of play was great. We will definitely be back again.

They were reseeding some of the fairways and you had to drop out to hit some shots. Bermuda had not come in all the way. Bunkers were packed from rain and were not user friendly. The course was not in the best shape and to hit into a no hit area was totally a downer. Fairways with these not hit areas were a nuisance and took away from the overall experience. Club house was fair and the food and beverage area could use some upgrade as in not enough diversity in beer and practically no dark beer. bummer. Prices too high for most.

Fairways had very thin lies, not much grass. Other than that , this is a great course. Greens were in good shape, food was very good, staff was friendly.

Average course at best. Greens can be good but not always. Same course as when opened, no upgrades.
