Decent way to spend a morning
It’s an inexpensive public course with fantastic views. A couple of blind shots where I worried about hitting into the group in front and hole 8 is just goofy, but at least takes advantage of the landscape. Had to wait about 10-15 minutes at every hole, though.
Fun, inexpensive course
This course was fun and inexpensive. Every few holes you route back to the pro shop which also is convenient if you need to take a quick bathroom break or bail out for heat. Views were amazing but greens were kind of in rough shape. Group in front was ungodly slow and came back in front of me to replay ball in the fairway which was kind of wild.
Good course!
Really enjoyed this course! Grounds team takes great care of the greens, also appreciated the driving range. Will be coming back for sure!
Decent budget round
Fairways and greens were a bit rough, but not unplayable. It's a budget course and being late summer conditions were about what I expected. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Some tricky greens and approach shots made it as fun budget round.
Not a bad option if you want a cheap quick round.
Horse play
The only difference between playing this course and playing in a cow pasture is; this course had fewer opportunities to step in fresh horse crap.. At one time this probably was an excellent course. But today it’s not. It needs at least 80–200 of, physical labor, including tree, trimming, and mowing of the fairways to make it a fair course.
not bad if you only need some practice
Not a bad 9 hole course but it definitely needs more grass around the greens it’s almost impossible to chip
Not a fan of leaving reviews like this but the fairways need fixed.
Sticker bushes and tons of grass growing on the fairways throughout the course. The greens were fine but that was about it. Had a very hard time even getting the T in the ground on hole 9. Hardest T box ground I've ever been on. Not a fan for $30 to play 9 holes.
Initial review
Staff was very friendly course conditions were average greens and tee box conditions could use some love course was slightly challenging only due to the holes being so crowded beside each other
Great golf course but...
The course itself is awesome, no problems with the level of challenge. But there's this one staff member who's just plain awful. It's like he and his buddies thought they were in a hurry, playing right on the same hole and almost whacking the guys ahead. Then they tried to kick up a fight, but the guy chickened out real fast, saying he didn't wanna lose his job. It's pretty clear that their own staff can be a rowdy bunch. So yeah, I'd seriously tell you not to bother going there after that whole mess.
Solid public play
I can score on this course. Once you play the front nine the back nine has no surprises.
Morristown crown
I’m a champion of public courses. This one is actually kicks butt. I ignored the bad reviews and played. If you can manage to keep ball in play this course will be fun.
