Smoky Mountain Golf Course

We haven’t traveled there to play in a bit. The course is still challenging even though there really isn’t water or bunkers in play. There is enough blind turns and rolling hills to give a challenge. Definitely bring some bug spray, been around worse but they are still annoying.

First time playing the course. Will definitely play there again.

Not as tough as the other mountain courses for seniors

I’m not one to complain too much about courses but this is one that I just really did not enjoy. First, if you have never played here, it is not first time player friendly at all. From figuring out where the next tee box is to guessing where your target line should be on the tee box. I’m not a fan of blind shots and this course is the king of those. Luckily no one else was on the course really or I can imagine the pace of play would be horrendous due to not really knowing where your ball ends up half the time. The greens, fairway and tee boxes were in pretty good shape but anything outside of the short grass could range from rocks and clay to mounds of mowed grass clippings that haven’t been picked up. I played with a hot deal for $30 and that’s about the most I would be willing to pay. The back 9 is like hitting down hallways filled with trees. Not a great time.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but course was in great shape and the layout was really good. Fairways in good shape and so were the greens. They were a little slower than I’m used to but got used to it. Sorta bogged down around hole 13, had a very slow group that I caught up to. I wasn’t in a hurry so no big deal. Will most likely be back.

Course was in excellent shape, greens and fairways especially with the weather the last week or so. Only complaint please mow the greens. They are extremely slow.

Course was very busy and they are short on golf carts. Had to wait well past my scheduled tee time.

Staff were very friendly especially the kitchen. They went out of their way to get me a meal for lunch.

Staff complained about my booking the round through GolfNow. I am a GolPas+ VIP and should not have to deal with flack from the workers for booking my round through the service. If they do not want golfers to use GolfNow to book rounds, they should remove their course from GolfNow; otherwise, shut up and let me play golf!

I loved the course and the layout, however it’s incredibly frustrating to play golf when gnats are flying in your eyes, ears, and nose during your backswing. There were maybe a handful of spots on the course where I was not affected by gnats. Great course, too many gnats…

Hilly course with nice greens mostly elevated which I am not used to and were recently aerated. Later in the season the fairways will improve but was a good value for the price. All in all an enjoyable experience

The course was fun and challenging to us flat landers 😁. Enjoyed it all and the scenery was just beautiful! Will be back to play when in the area again.

Great staff, very welcoming. This course has some of the best views. Love hitting over the graveyard. Greens are always challenging and majority are elevated so club up. Great value for the price.
