Smoky Mountain Golf Course

Very nice course for the price very very hilly greens are in good shape overall a challenging happy experience

My wife and I are traveling from Florida. What a fun experience . The course was in very nice shape. Grab an extra club for your second shots. Lots of elevated greens, if you hit even a little short your ball can hit the green and roll all the way back 25 yards off. Highly recommend !

The course was in good shape. You are playing in the mountains so expect lots of hills and sloping greens. The greens are postage stamp but run very good and were pretty quick. The views are wonderful. Pretty challenging course for me as i am just a hack, But lots of hills and small greens

Greens were in outstanding shape, rolled very well, were receptive and were sneaky fast! Aside from a small area here and there near the fringes of a couple greens, you would have never guessed it was September with the greens being in that good of shape.

Fairways were in good shape, super thick Bermuda.

Most tees were in decent shape, some had an abundance of crab grass and goose grass, but most were large enough to tee up elsewhere to avoid that.

Fun course, interesting layout, a few blind tee shots, definitely had to drive out and check the hole orientation on a couple holes, but worth playing!

Enjoyed the round but my friend and I only have one complaint—. To long from the senior tees ( I’m sure for the ladies also). I was a 200 yd drive then 2 hybrid 180’s to get to the green on the psi 5s. Some Long par 4’s also.

So long we questioned the actual score card listing.

But all else was great.

What a place! Chosen because of last minute availability! The guys in the pro store were great! Friendly and helpful! The course was well kept!

We haven’t traveled there to play in a bit. The course is still challenging even though there really isn’t water or bunkers in play. There is enough blind turns and rolling hills to give a challenge. Definitely bring some bug spray, been around worse but they are still annoying.

First time playing the course. Will definitely play there again.

Not as tough as the other mountain courses for seniors

I’m not one to complain too much about courses but this is one that I just really did not enjoy. First, if you have never played here, it is not first time player friendly at all. From figuring out where the next tee box is to guessing where your target line should be on the tee box. I’m not a fan of blind shots and this course is the king of those. Luckily no one else was on the course really or I can imagine the pace of play would be horrendous due to not really knowing where your ball ends up half the time. The greens, fairway and tee boxes were in pretty good shape but anything outside of the short grass could range from rocks and clay to mounds of mowed grass clippings that haven’t been picked up. I played with a hot deal for $30 and that’s about the most I would be willing to pay. The back 9 is like hitting down hallways filled with trees. Not a great time.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but course was in great shape and the layout was really good. Fairways in good shape and so were the greens. They were a little slower than I’m used to but got used to it. Sorta bogged down around hole 13, had a very slow group that I caught up to. I wasn’t in a hurry so no big deal. Will most likely be back.

Course was in excellent shape, greens and fairways especially with the weather the last week or so. Only complaint please mow the greens. They are extremely slow.

Course was very busy and they are short on golf carts. Had to wait well past my scheduled tee time.

Staff were very friendly especially the kitchen. They went out of their way to get me a meal for lunch.
