Grey Rock Golf Club

The course is in great shape except the greens need to be mowed shorter.. In these VIRUS times it was a real pleasure!

The course is in great condition. The staff was very nice and friendly. I teed off in the afternoon and the day hot. The worst part of it was the walk to the first hole after playing nine. Note: We started on hole 10. It was long and tiring. I would recommend the course take players in a cart to the first tee. I played the first hole,10th overall and couldn’t go any longer. A good Samaritan saw my distress and gave me ice and a Gatorade. Thank goodness

Course was in reasonable shape but the greens were super super slow. These greens are almost to the point of being redone. Also a lot of the tee boxes have a raised ridge right down the middle of the box, so the ball is either above your feet or below your feet on every tee shot. Not good, the tee boxes should be flat, at least give us a chance to start the hole on level ground.

Course is in good shape, greens could be faster, but they are smooth and roll well. Excellent staff, very friendly, would definitely play again.

Played today and the pro didn’t say anything about the back 9 greens just being punched. They were not top dressed or rolled so they were not puttable. I would have thought for the price we paid that they would have at lease told us!

1st time playing. Nice layout with only complaint that greens need a roll and cutting....very slow and bumpy. Good conditions for “winter”. Staff is super friendly and very helpful.

Course is in great shape for the time of year. Greens are a little slow.

My experience is always great at GR. Today was just as good as always. But we had a group behind us that hit into us 2 times. Ounce their ball hit my golf cart. The other time the ball bounce right by me.

This really made my round today very difficult wondering if I was going to be hit by a ball.

Weather and the course made up for it. My score was an 82.

Little roughed up but it’s winter. Staff is good not overtly friendly. The course layout is good. Not much elevation change. Stay out of the trees! Greens In Good condition. Overall a nice local course. For a municipal course better than expected.

I like this course a lot and for winter conditions it’s in great shape. I would play it more often but it’s a little pricey. I have to wait for a hot deal from Golf Now at a convenient time.

Have played here for the last 4 Christmas Holidays and as a single have never met such nice people to play with.

They had a large tournament finishing just before my tee time that day, and didn't tell me that when I booked the round, and ended up having to wait 30min past my tee time to tee off.

The greens were burnt out and in awful conditions - I'm guessing they don't have the money to water them properly anymore.

I tried to order some food (burger, sandwich, anything) while waiting for my delayed round to start, but was told they were prepping food for the tournament that was just finishing, and thus could not take even a minute to make me a cold sandwich.

I was in town for a conference and didn't bring my clubs so had to rent from them. $60 USD for a beat up set of Cobra clubs seemed a little steep.

I get the impression that this may have been a nice course 5-10 years ago, but it doesn't seem to be anymore.

Very good layout and staff was terrific. Grill room leaves something to be desired. Ordered goat cheese salad that came with no goat cheese. After serving salad and getting paid, told us they were out of goat cheese! No offer to fix. Would not skip playing Grey Rock because of this. Enjoy!!
