Reston National Golf Course

New management appears to have let many of the previous staff go. New staff didn’t handle tee sheet well. Very inexperienced and was disappointed the course was not being kept up to the excellent conditions of the past. Bunkers were unplayable and greens hadn’t been mowed and rolled as before. Who is running the kitchen now? New person behind the counter seemed clueless. They also raised the cost of green fees and seem to have done away with twilight rates. After 20 years of playing Reston National I’m going to go elsewhere for better service and better conditions. So long!

Greens and fairways are in good shape, but bunkers are atrocious. General layout is pretty straight forward but the thing that really sets this one apart is the value. $94 to play a morning round is a complete travesty. Asked to get a small bucket of balls, and was told they ran out at 11am. Embarrassing

Course is in great shape.... greens were fast and true - even with all the rain.

Shout out to Tom in the pro shop. There were a couple of "not so very nice" patrons venting their frustrations. He handled it with skill, diplomacy, and aplomb. Well done, kind sir.

Played the early bird back 9 special. Very good deal. Course was in great condition. They are very precautious with the pandemic, so that was reassuring. All in all had a great time playing.

Although Reston National has location, that’s all it has for its price. Greens are way too long, bunkers are mud pits and they are way too quick to call cart path only. Too much money for the old course.

The course is in good shape and pace of play is ideal.

The fairways and greens on this course are immaculate! Like carpet! I’ve played about 10 different courses this season so far, and this course is in the best condition of all of them!

No one in front of us, no one behind us playing on a course in perfect shape! Doesn’t get better than that.

Can’t wait to return!

Compared to other courses in the area, both private and municipal owned, the grounds, especially the greens, are very well kept. I like the fact that there aren't too many housing complex around to ruin the surroundings. Definitely one of my favorite course in the area..

Course was great Walked with my son and finished in exactly in 4 hours.

Great round and thanks for taking appropriate precautions, like separate carts for each member of a foursome - surprisingly not guaranteed by many local courses.

This is an exceptional golf course right in the middle of Reston off Sunrise Valley Drive. I’ve been wanting to play this course for over a year now having driven by it so many times. The course is very well maintained which is why it always catches me eye. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to give advice and any help needed. The holes are challenging enough for the average golfer and offers a variety of holes with sandtraps, uphill and downhill shots. Overall solid course that I’d highly recommend.
