South at Boulders Golf Club & Resort

You won’t care about your score here as the scenery is amazing.

Got on for $38 through GolfNow, couldn't have asked for more. Course is in great shape, and is very friendly towards the average golfer with large fairways, but it still offers a nice challenge with picking landing spots, club selection, and tucked pins. Beautiful views with friendly staff. Would totally recommend it!

First I would like to compliment the staff for being helpful and friendly! GPS had very good visuals of each hole and distances. Not much role because the course had a lot of wet areas from being watered during the night but to be expected in the summer here in the Phoenix area. The greens were a little slower then I anticipated for speed but that is an easy adjustment for me. I’m an older player so teed off from the Whites. Enjoyed my round, only hit 3 shots in the desert areas ! After I had lunch at the Grill!

Played the back north and front south in that order, I was told by my companion that was the most picturesque. I loved playing down the canyons and the general conditioning was very good. Greens were great and putted very true, I should learn to read greens better though. The staff was great, made sure everyone was staying hydrated. I saw the beverage cart four times. If you can find this rate at this club, grab it. Frugal golfers like me won't get here very often, thank god for summer rates.

Nice course with friendly staff, the course itself was in good condition greens ran true, lost a few balls in the desert but hey ho.

"Somewhat challenging" hardly describes the courses played 07/03! Due to normal course maintenance scheduling, we played Back 9 North/Front 9 South, blue/white tee combo. My first time on the South. I can hardly wait to play the South 1-18 in August! D*** that South front 9 was difficult! Some blind tee shots; blind 2nd's; quick greens (9-10 stemp); LONG 3-par holes; holy smokes! The North is always fun to play, but that South! Yup! I'll be back!! I'll bring my brother to punish him! And next time, I'm playing the WHITE tees on the South!

I wasn't sure what to expect. I had never played the Boulders before. Everyone was very nice and we had a good round. This time of year we mostly had the course to ourselves.

first start time 6:30 in AZ in June is to late.

Practice range was being mowed so could not warm up.

Putting green was being fertilized so could not put.

Sent Member off 10 with guests off 1. created a log jamb at the turn slowed play as it got hotter.

We were two lower handicap got first off tee time to be paired with higher handicap players as a 4 but because of the member off 10 deal it made my possible 2.5 hour round 4.5 bummer for me i guess. Not sure i'll play there again. I pass 3 golf courses to go to theirs.

I love playing at the Boulders. Scenery, wildlife, condition of course, width of fairways, different lie angles and great greens

My wife and played here while visiting Scottsdale. The course was immaculate, very playable, and reasonably priced via Golf Now. Will definitely play again when we return.

Great resort course-immaculate grounds-keeping and views worth every dollar. Played as a twosome with my wife o the North Course,, and seldom waited to tee off or play the next shot even with a mixed foursome in front of us. Course personnel were friendly and helpful. Would definitely play again when in the Scottsdale AZ area.

I played the front of North and South Courses. It was really a challenge as I was playing alone and there are lots of blind shots and LOTS of trouble. I’d recommend playing with someone who knows the course. Greens were aerated, but I can’t complain. Paid $70 for a $250 round. Golfnow gold!!!

The greens were all punched with holes and sanded. They should notify the golfers that the greens are punched I had no idea, I would not of played there had I known the greens were punched.

If you are not a member or a corporate guest you get treated like a second rate citizen. It appears they use the public to fill the tee sheet and don't care if your round is good or bad. They stuck a corporate foursome in between tee times in front of us and it made a 5 hour round. I would not play this course again during peak season.
