Rancho Manana Golf Club has one of the prettier courses in Cave Creek-Scottsdale, located high in the Sonora and combining vistas with testing golf. It offers a par-70 championship golf course laid out over elevations that change dramatically right up alongside the untouched desert and the indigenous wildlife that comes with that, as well as an old-school dude ranch that has been incorporated into the golf resort. Low-handicap golfers will be challenged by the golf course, but it's not so tough that other levels of golfer will be turned away.

The Rancho Manana Golf Club offers golf to the public and is conveniently located just 20 minutes off the highway.

Always love a round at Rancho Manana. Fairways look great after overseed. Greens need some attention. Overall, course in good condition. Pace of play was appropriate for Cart Path Only. Had some minor back-ups on front 9 but able to finish in 4.5 hours - just in time for reservation at Tonto Bar & Grill.

A great track in Cave Creek with an affordable rate. Despite just coming out of overseeding the course was in great condition save for the shag carpet greens ( expected).

Rancho Mañana is nice short challenging course that just opened from over-seeding. Greens were slow and cart path only.

For the time being it is good they recognize that the golf course is not in pristine condition, so the rate is according to what should be expected.

I had the pleasure to play with two members, that were courteous, and generous. Had a good time

Outstanding high desert course

Pace of play is always slower because of the tight, turning fairways.

Scalped for over seeding lead to ball running. (Nice!)

Greens ere slower but true.

Overall really fun course. Multiple elevation changes and some blind shots. The fairways are narrow and rough is basically out of bounds. With good conditions this course is fun, but greens aren’t good as they are prepping for overseed 9/18.

All kinds of blind shots

So instead of playing the 6000 yard blues I played the 5400 yard whites at the suggestion of the starter and he was spot on. Learn the layout before you blindly whale away, you’ll have more fun. It was in good summer shape but the greens were very firm. I hit a lot of good irons that went long. I’d play it again tomorrow.
