Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club

First time playing. Will definitely play there again.

I had not played Dove Valley in many years. I bought a two person tee time on GolfNow and it was $135 per player. I did not feel that this was worth that much money. The back line was considerably tougher because it was target golf. The round was very slow and pace of play was horrible. At that price, there are many other courses in the valley that would be a much better value.

My only problem is that if you hit into the traps(as I did) be prepared to chip it out like you’re in the desert. All gravel! For the money, I would expect better. Loved the course, fairways and greens.

first time playing here. well run facility. weather was excellent! tee boxes and fairways were decent. greens ran pretty true at about a 10? surprised at modest changes in elevations expecially given the location. challenging pin placements were, well, challenging. the sand traps however, were more like hard packed dirt and stones. that was my only beef. i would return at the right price point as i traveled all the way from surprise.

Easy check in. Very friendly staff. Course in great condition. Really have to focus on the greens. FUN!

Nothing particularly memorable, but a nice desert golf experience. Back nine is narrower and more “target golf” but still enjoyable.

Enjoyed the layout of the course. Staff was very friendly.

Didn’t like the gps on the cart. It gave general distances but at time wanted the ability to dial it in.

I would have like to use my phone in place of the cart gps, but the usb port was no working to keep my phone charged.

25 golf balls isnt enough for warmups on the range.

For the prices we pay for golf this time of year you should give about 40 balls. This dynamic pricing is going to kill “Golf”. We get the same course conditions for ridiculous greens fees.

Always play this course when we are out here for the winter. Always in great shape and staff is wonderful.
