Rancho Manana Golf Club has one of the prettier courses in Cave Creek-Scottsdale, located high in the Sonora and combining vistas with testing golf. It offers a par-70 championship golf course laid out over elevations that change dramatically right up alongside the untouched desert and the indigenous wildlife that comes with that, as well as an old-school dude ranch that has been incorporated into the golf resort. Low-handicap golfers will be challenged by the golf course, but it's not so tough that other levels of golfer will be turned away.

The Rancho Manana Golf Club offers golf to the public and is conveniently located just 20 minutes off the highway.

After a round of golf at the Rancho Manana Golf Club, stick around for around and maybe some eats at the Tonto Bar & Grill, which has received several awards and is listed among Arizona's top 100 restaurants.

Slow play

Love Rancho Manana except for the slow play. This has been a problem for years. Two groups behind us left the course after #8. The back nine was better. I have played other courses in the facinity where pace of play is enforced and we all get around in around 4 hours. This course is pretty full as are others at this time of year, so I guess there’s no urgency to improve.

Short Course But Challenging

If you look on the score card, you will see that this is not a long course; tee to green the yardages are minimal. What is not evident on the score card, however, is the elevation change from tee to green. 8 of the first 9 holes have big shifts whether up or down as you navigate each hole. The course conditions are always consistently good regardless of whether it’s summer or winter. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful.—not the tip craving glad-handers at so many high end courses. Enjoy playing here.

Must see

Breath taking golf course with some of the coolest par 3s I’ve ever seen. Only knock on the course was pace of play but the gentlemen in the pro shop accommodated me for a 9 hole rate to ensure we made it to our dinner . 10/10 customer service . Will be returning to play a full 18. Would recommend to anyone

AZ Beauty

This is an excellent GC to show off the beauty of our state for out of town visitors.

Pace of play was slow as expected on the weekend and the clubhouse menu is very limited.

The course conditions and staff were all terrific.

We look forward to playing here again!

challenging coarse

this is more of target golf coarse , if you get the ball in the right spot you can do well if not you can get some difficult bounces and finish in unplayable sites greens not up to the standard of some of the other coarses in the area and quite slow facilities very good , cart and refreshment kiosk very good

Beautiful scenic experience!

Rancho Manana is one of the most beautiful sonoran desert coursed in the Phoenix area. Lots of elevation changes and views of the surrounding Cave Creek mountains. Plenty of holes that aren't generic so that adds a unique flavor to the experience. One of my favorite courses in the valley.
