Women should play the forward tees even though they are only 4500 yards. Take 1 or 2 clubs extra for all your approach shots.

This is a beautuful course with very scenic views and challenging elevation changes. Lots of trouble if your not accurate off the tee. The staff is terrific and very friendly!! Not a course I would recommend for begginers if you get frustrated easily. Have fun and enjoy.

Everything was great except the pace of play was extremely slow due to a couple groups.

5 hour round was a lot of hit-and-wait, but probably due to it being high season and a 6000 yd course. New bridge between 2 & 3 beautiful, almost (too?) grand, gut the fact it’s only 1 lane caused some issues since it is used for players going each direction. We had some head on issues causing backups, especially so because the beverage cart was also in the mix. Otherwise, a beautiful course with great views and a good challenge despite its short length (small greens, target golf, significant issues just off the fairways and greens). And fair pricing for what you get.

The grass parts of the course were in very good condition, but the greenside bunkers were mostly hardpacked, with not enough sand in them. There was no one to help us at the bag drop area. The starter stayed behind his podium, never properly greeted our foursome, and did not give us any course information. In fact, he drove out to us next to the first green because he had not written down our cart numbers. There are a few sandwich and drink choices near the first tee, but the menu in the onsite restaurant had no sandwiches available. The price was great but the service was lacking.

Rancho Mañana remains a standout for its consistently stunning desert views, and my recent late afternoon round was no exception. Despite the heat, the course was in good condition, highlighted by wonderful fairways and solid tee boxes. While some of the teeing areas aren't perfectly level, they are spacious enough to easily find a flat lie. The pace of play was a great. Playing later in the day meant I rarely had to wait to tee off, allowing for a smooth and enjoyable flow throughout the round.

The greens have been overseeded, which naturally makes them a bit less receptive than usual, but they remain in better shape than many other local courses I've played recently. They are consistent enough to reward good putts and are holding up well for the season. Between the pristine scenery and the good pace, it was a good experience that I’ll definitely be repeating soon.

Unfortunately, the pace of play was very slow. There were 5 groups on one hole waiting to play.

A golf course should “welcome” players and appreciate frequent business. We had 3 visits from the Marshall telling us we were “1.5 6 behind;” we were “causing a bottle neck”; “”skip a hole” (on # 10.)

We teed off with openness 1-2 holes already ahead of us on # 1; it was a twosome behind us; they never waited; we 4 finished 18 holes in 3 hours 45 minutes on a late morning sunny Friday.

For $178 and maybe my 30th round there, it was upsetting. The marshall was seeing a gap ahead of us or behind us. He was not using a clock comparing it to our start. Our pace of play was AHEAD of pace. Three visits and telling us to skip a hole - with a smaller group behind us (who NEVER asked to play thru) was not friendly . We never saw the group behind us from 9-18.

Course was not in good shape. Greens were poor and bounced with every putt. Tee boxes are not flat and crowned in the middle. Used to be a great course. What happened?

I always make the effort to go to this course every time I come to Arizona. I love the rental clubs (ping ladies) - so much I bought the same set when I got back to Canada! The course has a good layout with lots of great views and unique holes. Highly recommend!
