About
Nestled at the base of the Superstition Mountains, Mountainbrook Golf Club offers a player-friendly course with beautiful views of mountains and desert hills. Given its location, the golf course is mostly flat, making it a nice walk. The layout combines that of a desert course and a mountain course for an interesting variety of holes and challenges. The fairways are relatively wide and some are lined with trees and the fairly large greens are sloped and fast. Sand bunkers are situated throughout the course and two lakes create water hazards that come into play on the back nine. Mountainbrook Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 16th, which has a dogleg left fairway and a green that is well guarded by bunkers and mounding.

Pace of play..
We need off at 1:30 and only got 16 holes in. Probably would have been a 4 hour and 45 minute round.
Always enjoyable
Friendly staff, well kept fairways and greens, with the Superstition mountains as a backdrop for many holes makes for a great golf experience. The weather was perfect, which always helps as well. Very enjoyable!

They’ve Lost the Plot. Customers come First!!
I’ve played here a lot over the past 12 years. They’ve lost the plot, Customers are supposed to come first in a service business. Changes they made this year to the bag drop and cart pick up are ridiculous! Half of the time there is no one at the bag drop podium, no keys in the cart, you have to check in to get a key, but only get a key if others in your group have not gotten one first. They may drive your cart to the putting green, but with no key, you’re stuck there!
If you’re a single your left to find who your playing with that has a key. I’ve given verbal feedback to the staff many times, but they don’t listen, only make excuses! Customers first, pleas!!

The views from and conditions of this course are excellent. We will be back.
everything was good bot some greens needed a bit of love
Not worth the money
Very overpriced course by about 3 times. I do not usually write reviews but have to on this one. Rude staff and a starter that had no interest in being there. Our very first experience was seeing the starter as we arrived to drop our bags, we asked how the course was playing and he threw his hands in the air and said take a look yourself, looks damp still doesn't it? Met another group on the course that had the same experience with him and said they seen this a couple times this week at the course. This course is not worth the rate based on the course layout and condition of the course. Was surprised based on other courses we played this week that were not much more and had exceptional experiences at the other courses.
Great conditions - ranger not speeding up play
Course was great conditions, ranger came by multiple times and never let the group of 3 infront of us to speed up, they would take over 30 minutes to play a hole and ranger said nothing to them, we were so backed up that we had 3 other groups catch up and wait. None of the rangers said anything to the 3 some
Had to skip over and pass them up and there wasn’t a group in sight infront for a few holes
