About
Located in Mesa, Desert Sand Golf Course is an executive length course with a short layout that is most suitable for beginners, but it is also a good place for golfers of all skill levels to work on their short game skills. Due to its flat terrain, the course is easy to walk with few elevation changes. The greens are remarkably fast and water hazards come into play on five holes. There are also sand bunkers scattered throughout the course. The Desert Sand Golf Course facility offers a chipping area and putting green and it is also home to a golf school.

Greens could use work. They are rough and the grass is long. Very hard to putt on. Fairway grass is uneven and hard to hit the ball.

Friendly and fun.
The course was not fancy or difficult, but we had a lot of fun!! The staff was friendly and the price was right. We will be back. Thank you.

One and done
We get there and learn there's a 40 min delay. Course is not in very good condition. Lots of bare areas. Tee boxes are like a wash board, it was hard to find a flat spot to hit off. BUT the major draw back is to get from the 13th to 14th holes we had to cross a 4 lane very busy road. Then again after 17 coming back.
Surrounding homes are extremely close.
On the plus side the staff was very nice.

Fun course for a good price
Par 65, with 1 par 5. Greens in very good shape. Fareways ok. Pace of play was slow, could have used a Marshall. Overall a fun course for the money.

Small course
Worth what we paid. The course has one par 5, the rest are 3 and a few 4s. Greens are all domed so quite tough. Fairways mostly ok. Water doesn't really come into play. Very nice starter and cart girl.
