About
The Painted Mountain Golf Club is a challenging desert-style course with a variety of different tees to accommodate every age group and skill level. The course offers a lengthier challenge from the first hole, a par-5 dogleg right, to the last, which requires an approach shot over water in order to reach the green. The Painted Mountain Golf Club, in addition to the course, is also home to the John Jacob's Golf School.

Pretty good considering
Apparently they’re having a water reservoir issue and can’t water the fairways. They’re pretty burned out, but still decent coverage considering. They’re focusing on watering the greens and tee boxes and I have to say those are actually the best I’ve seen them in awhile, though a little brown.
Still worth the price.
Hot & Humid in AZ.
Course was wide open today Great for golfing in heat. Was given 2 bottles of water and ice in cooler. Pro shop greeted me with smile and said I could go right away, Thank you Steve. All staff are friendly and appreciate having public come out to play. Will be back.

Good Course At A Good Price
This is a links-type course that weaves throughout the development and contains some very challenging uphill par 5 holes. PM is course where you do not return to the clubhouse after the fist 9 holes. Actually hole # 9 ends up being at the highest point on the course and then after that the second 9 holes descends slowly back to he clubhouse. Greens were in excellent shape and the fairways were good. Tee boxes showed some wear but nothing excessive. Coyotes on the course were a plus as well as the hawks flying overhead.
Great price, good overall experience
Course was a lil rough, not horrible. Clubhouse and restaurant were closed. Bummer. All else was good, would certainly recommend.
Hot & Humid
Greens in good shape. Given water bottles and cooler with ice, appreciate them with hot weather. Outside staff, Rex from Iowa , friendly and greeted with smile. Pro-shop staff, Steve, always smiling. Course is drying out, but compared to others I have been playing it is the best. Will be back next week.

Course is in good shape, but needs more water on tee boxes and some areas of fairways. Greens are slow due to recent aeration,

Another hot/humid day in Mesa. Was greeted and given two bottles of water, THANK YOU. Greens are best around that I have played. Great staff. Will be back next week.

First time playing this course! Nice views of Painted Mountain and a fair value for the money.. will play this course again!
Hot and thankfully windy.
Greens are in good shape, better than any other courses I have played this month. Bar and inside food services closed through wed. because of heat. Will play again next week. Staff services of Steve and Glen are very good.
Great value
Greens are still a little bumpy from aeration and slow, but they were soft. Sand was pretty good and fairways pretty green for this time of year.
Great price! Marshall let me play an extra few holes. Very friendly.

Nice course layout, staff always friendly, it’s a solid course to work on all aspects of your game.
