Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club

About
Robert Trent Jones II designed the golf course at Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club, creating a championship course to shift gently from open play to intimate foliage along Willow Wash. The golf delivers Southwestern authenticity, with etroglyph-etched boulders marking holes. It differs from the "target" golf courses of Arizona in that it features player-friendly golf, manicuring transition spaces so that golfers face minimal penalty when recovering.
At the Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club, Robert Trent Jones II demands strategic and varied shooting, meaning the round of golf will challenge as well as refresh golfers.
After the round at the Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club, head back to the casual elegance of the clubhouse.

Dove Valley nice course
Very nice course, great shape for the season. Cart path (overseed) only but was still a good day of golf. Good conditions, pace was good and layout plays well. Beautiful day on the AZ course⛳️🌞
Perfect for us
We are senior golfers . My handicap 11 . Layout is perfect for a nice friendly round . Good pace of play , helpful and friendly staff and course always plays well
Suspect layout paired with suboptimal post-overseed conditions.
Many of the uneven tee boxes are like hitting out of the rough right now. While I can give a pass for the tough post-overseed conditions, the layout of the back nine is mega suspect.
Holes 11,12, and 14 might be the dumbest stretch of par 4's in AZ. Clownshow angles off the tee for every tee box not intended for women and children. Low T golf.
15 is a par 5 designed by low T architects who love layups. 17 is a great 5 however.
Overall the course is just a weird mix of straight forward holes and then a good chunk of holes that will have you scratching your head from tee to green.
They need to reopen the range to the public as well.
Great Course
Great course, great staff , wonderful layout , greens were slow just coming off of overseeding, but wow i love the course.
Too early to play
The course was very very slow as were the greens, found it hard to get the ball to the hole and were sandy and bumby.
Very little roll on the fairways, grass was long
Needs another 2 to 3 weeks before it's worth playing again
Cart Return prior to derk?
Not sure anyone can play 18 holes in 3 hours . No one said anything about early Cart returns? We only found out about this at 5:50 when the alarm on the cart went off . This left us with no chance to finish our round. 250 for 12 holes is a joke
Not enough time for 18
3 hours is not enough time for a round of golf. Cal for carts to be returned by 550 was ridiculous. You had back to back tee times and we only got in 12 holes.
Enjoyed the course very much. My only problem was that I played right before over-seeding., Greens were very n8 e and would definitely play Dove Valley again when I visit Phoenix
