About
Robert Trent Jones II designed the golf course at Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club, creating a championship course to shift gently from open play to intimate foliage along Willow Wash. The golf delivers Southwestern authenticity, with etroglyph-etched boulders marking holes. It differs from the "target" golf courses of Arizona in that it features player-friendly golf, manicuring transition spaces so that golfers face minimal penalty when recovering.

Outstanding.
Lovely layout and well maintained. Not very long so particularly fun for the shorter hitters but with a few holes that require some length. Greens are quick. Outstanding experience
First time playing here!
Overall great. Just a few nit picks and one really! Getting to the next hole was challenging, signage was poor to confusing at times! Tee markers were crooked or misplaced on some holes! Players or maintenance staff? Called to pro-shop to ask about cart time to be back to the shop and never reached the pro-shop, talked to every one in the place but not the pro-shop! Lastly the Really, the greens looked like the face of the moon! Looked as if not one player (ever) repaired their balls marks on the greens. How to enforce? What is the maintenance team (superintendent) doing abort it? Again we enjoyed our round but the experience could have been better.
Excellent design, condition and staff
Had a group that travelled in and needed club rental. Greens were quick and true. Staff was very accommodating. Will play again on PHX/Scottsdale trip
Pricey
Had a great time. And enjoyed the course. Would come again but not for $240pp. Pricey to say the least. Golfnow pricing made it acceptable. If you have to pay $240 I would search out other deals.

Course in excellent condition; traps thin but fair; greens rolled true. Staff was great.
Great Course and Challenging Back 9
I really enjoyed this course a lot and will return to play very soon. The range was awesome, chipping and putting greens right there. The course is in great shape! The front nine is straight forward and the back nine is really a challenge with split fairways on several holes. It is interesting and play is a challenge but rewarding.
One funky hole
This is a nice course. Relatively flat and in excellent condition. Pace of play was good, taking less than 4 hours for our 3-some. We didn't wait a lot, but idd on the last several holes. There is a funky hole on the back nine that is a sharp dog leg left across a dry creek. Lots of trees on the left and through the fairway if you hit it too far. Check your yardages and lay up appropriately. The older guys i played with hit 7 irons from the senior tees. I hit 5 wood from the whites and it was too much. Be warned. Rest of the course was very nice.
