Las Colinas Golf Club
The golf course at Las Colinas Golf Club stretches over a gently, rolling landscape sprinkled with over 2000 cottonwoods as well as various other native grasses and plants. The greens are separated by ribbons of desert washes, where golfers sometimes catch glimpses of local wildlife. Although the golf course is not as demanding as other championship courses, the layout features an interesting variety of holes that requires precision from every club in the bag. The course offers a challenge for all skill levels with doglegs and lakes coming into play on some holes. Located in the growing community of Queen Creek, Las Colinas Golf Club has become a popular choice in the Valley.

Greens were worse than Stripe Show
Cmon guys…if you aerated the green there should be the standard notification on golf now. Putting here might as well have required a sand wedge. More sand on the greens than in the traps. Was like putting on Velcro covered in sand. I would not have played here even for the 27 dollars had I known like Dobson Ranch, big red aeration warning when you go to book your tee time. The fairways were ok, some bald spots but overall ok. No cart girl, no ice bucket on cart although I have to say the drinking water stations at multiple holes had the coldest water I could’ve imagined and was nice to dunk your head under it and soak your hat. In good conditions, would’ve loved this course, give it a few weeks and see if the greens come in with this stretch of 113 degrees.
I love this course and the staff has always been great. I knew about the greens aerification two weeks before they did it as I'm on the email list. But agree that it should be posted on any tee time site.
Course well maintained
Greens are in great conditions as well as fairways. We were told there will be beverage carts available but none showed up.
Doing several repairs
Almost every hole is being worked on, seems they are losing sod or grass. Seeded roped off areas everywhere. Greens are slow and bumpy.
The course was bought by someone from what I have heard, and he is putting money into it and trying to get traditionally dead areas sodded. So hopefully it will pay dividends. The course has always been hit or miss with the course conditions, but the layout is very fair, and the staff is always good.
great coarse for the money
New owner is making subtle changes that will upgrade this coarse for the future.
We arrived early for our tee time and they got us out right away, 1/2 hour early. Course was decent, some tee boxes chewed up and greens were slow and bumby but fairways for the most part were good. Course is very forgiving, but quite a joy to play. We will be back, hopefully rates will drop a little soon.
