Greenfield Lakes Golf Course
About
The executive length course at the Greenfield Lakes Golf Club is a shorter course but there are three sets of teeboxes for a variety of different options. There are also plenty of challenges to appeal to all players. The golf course's layout is mostly flat and relatively open and it features many difficult par 5s and also some dogleg fairways. Although there are no sand bunkers, four lakes create water hazards that come into play on half of the holes. A notably challenging hole is the par-5 18th, which has a lake protecting the green and also a double dogleg fairway. The course at the Greenfield Lakes Golf Club, with its nice scenery and great conditions, is an excellent place for golfers to work on their short game.

Terrific for the price
Yes the golf course is a little rough but it certainly isn’t a dog track. If you want perfection in your golf course then go play those $100 courses. The course was crowded today with folks who understand that the course is playable, challenging and inexpensive. I wish the owner success and if people support him perhaps he will make upgrades. I figured out out to play some of the holes and next time I’ll play a little better.
Dog track
Brutal course. Worst I’ve played in the valley, whole round felt like it must be a prank. Held wheel sideways to drive straight on the cart the entire round. Started 30 min late, absolute dog track I will never give a second chance.
Pretty busy due to all other courses being closed for reseeding.
Slow round, poor value
Five groups on one hole. Walked off at the turn after a 2.5 hour front nine, on a short course! Worst range balls I’ve ever seen.
I’m fine with lower price for higher value, but I’d rather pay 20% more for a 50% better experience.
Pretty neat course. It was busy due to most east valley courses being closed for reseeding.
Great day for golf
Course just was sold and look forward to seeing necessary improvements. Fun course to play.
Fairways were unkempt
Greens were great. Fairways uneven with many dirt areas.
warm up
Did you ever want a quick round of 18 holes? this course has a couple traps but overall, it's target practice and a couple lakes. after 2 hours, you're heading home. a relaxing course providing no stress. Just what my Sunday needed.
Summer Review
Course was in great condition, especially for summer heat in AZ. Staff was friendly. We played around noon and finished in 2 and a half hours. Having to pay for ice is kinda crazy though lol.
Don’t play here. Bad business ethics
I booked a tee time on Saturday for 4pm and prepaid thru Golf Now. When I arrived it was apparent that there were having a tournament. I was told I didn’t have a tee time since they were having a 100 man scramble called Heat Wave. I showed them my receipt on my phone. They said I would have to get a refund from Golf Now. I called Golf Now and explained to them what happened. They called the course and discussed with them. Greenfield Lakes refused to issue a refund. So in other words, Greenfield Lakes screwed up by not communicating their available tee times with Golf Now, took my money, wouldn’t let me play and now won’t give me back my money.
Great time!
Played a great 18 on a cloudy day! Great hospitality from the staff we met. The play and drink prices were very reasonable as well. My only concern was the state of the greens and tee boxes but I feel it’ll look better after the over seeding. Highly recommend for a smooth state of play and great vibes🙂↕️
Not worth the money
Golf has gotten expensive in AZ, post-covid. And courses are milking golfers. All are overpriced, and most are in bad condition. Greenfield is no exception. Fairways are sketchy, greens were slow (post-aerated), because they let the grass grow. I'd guess 8 on the stimp meter. Way too many par 3s, and at least 2 were less than 100 yards. Fun little course that really won't test your game much.
Dog track
First of all the young girl that "runs" the front was very late leaving a crowd of men to check in and buy things up front. Next the greens were very long and furry. A lot of dirt and bare spots. The cart girl came around once. Overall not a great experience. Also hole 10 that borders the range had the most balls I have ever seen on a hole. Absolutely ridiculous. Good luck playing this hot mess.
Terrible for the Price
Charging $40 for a 4pm round in 110 degrees. Much rather play a full course in the area that’s in 10x better shape for less money. Greens were 1970s shag carpet. Bad bad course.
Good playing condition despite the extreme heat
We enjoy playing here as they keep the course playable u see the Arizona heat. There are very few muddy spots, yet it is a good sign they keep
Water g the grass.
