Las Colinas Golf Club
About
The golf course at Las Colinas Golf Club stretches over a gently, rolling landscape sprinkled with over 2000 cottonwoods as well as various other native grasses and plants. The greens are separated by ribbons of desert washes, where golfers sometimes catch glimpses of local wildlife. Although the golf course is not as demanding as other championship courses, the layout features an interesting variety of holes that requires precision from every club in the bag. The course offers a challenge for all skill levels with doglegs and lakes coming into play on some holes. Located in the growing community of Queen Creek, Las Colinas Golf Club has become a popular choice in the Valley.

Overpriced for conditions
Greens are sanded in the middle of February. Who does that? Fairways are fine. But anything outside the fairway is dirt. Traps are hit or miss. As a single you have to share a cart. This course should be no more than $40. Instead it is way overpriced at $70
Closes Early
Purchased a 2:30 - 6:30 tee time. Started 15 minutes behind (no big deal). At 5:50PM, when there was still plenty of light a ranger took in all of the pins/flags so as to stop play. We easily could have played 2-3 more holes in th elight. If they are going to not honor what they sell (i.e. 18 holes or 6:30PM) then they shoudl only sell 9 hioles WE felt like we were taken by this courese.
Good Course
I really like this course and have played it many times. It’s been a couple of months since I played it last and I was a little disappointed in the condition. It’s still a great place to play however.
If not in fairway - Hard Pan or Dirt
Course Layout was good with the exception of 18, where if you hit on right side of rough, you were out of bounds.
Greens had average speed. You had to know the course though, because some greens were two tiered.
Parking was real bad - Food Beverage early was excellent and good prices, but they closed at 5, so no beer to drink after round.
Price should be a $40 course not $70
Frost Delay
Frost delay caused tee time to be pushed back 50 minutes. Accordingly, we did not finish the round.
Friendly Course, Great Staff
I’ve been playing at this course for several years, each time we return from Canada.
Biggest complaint is a general one. Price of golf has increased dramatically the last couple of years..
Two tiered fee structures. owning a home and paying taxes locally does not give one “residents “ prices.
Fun course
Enjoy playing Las Colinas. Their golf rates with golf pass membership have been good. However looks like rates are going up. The course has a variety of interesting holes with some challenging greens. You can score well on this course if your short game is good. Staff is friendly and they don’t pressure you to hurry if you happen to have a late tee-time. All-in-all
anyone can have a fun golf experience here.
Ok
Fast play. Greens good shape for the most part, bunkers good, fairways mostly good. Some tee boxes not great but I would play here again if the price was right
Stumped
A number of courses on GolfNow stipulate shared carts. Not this one. On entering the pro shop there are signs stating single riders will be charged an additional $15 for a cart. I was told the single I'd be playing with already had the cart & had gone to the driving range. "We'll introduce you when he returns." Say, what? I got to stand there with my bag for 15 mins. Start times were running almost a half hour behind due to an early frost and by hole #4, there were 3 groups in front of us on every hole: 1 on the tee box, one on the fairway, one on the green...incredibly frustrating.
