About
The golf course at Las Colinas Golf Club stretches over a gently, rolling landscape sprinkled with over 2000 cottonwoods as well as various other native grasses and plants. The greens are separated by ribbons of desert washes, where golfers sometimes catch glimpses of local wildlife. Although the golf course is not as demanding as other championship courses, the layout features an interesting variety of holes that requires precision from every club in the bag. The course offers a challenge for all skill levels with doglegs and lakes coming into play on some holes. Located in the growing community of Queen Creek, Las Colinas Golf Club has become a popular choice in the Valley.

Review of the course: the fairways are in very nice condition. The greens can be tough, especially with some of the pin placements. However, the rough has a number of dry areas and growth that makes missing fairways a penalty in itself. Love the layout and hazard placement. It makes the average to advanced player plan their shots accordingly or again face the wrath of the course.
Review of the staff: I lost my phone by one of the water holes. It fell out of the cart while sipping around. I had my GPS on, so I returned with another device and a staff member was gracious enough to give around until we located the phone. Staff at the front was planning on going out to locate the phone later, but it was just nice to see someone go out of their way to help out. I may live at a different local course, but I certainly consider this my home course.
I always have a good time.

Nice afternoon
The course is in good condition if you stay in the fairway. The rough is difficult because balls tend to sit on dirt between two tufts of weeds making it difficult to get your club on the ball. The greens are in fairly good shape and pin placements were challenging. A four hour round is always appreciated!

In fair shape. Green a little bumpy but after a good rain so growing fast. Couple of blind shot surprises but still an enjoyable round.

Nice and Easy
Hit it nice and easy and the ball will run. Fairways are good, but if you miss it you won’t have a good lie. Greens are better than higher priced courses. Straight forward layout and not a lot of bunkers guarding the greens make this an enjoyable destination. I recommend playing here.

Pace of play
Play many courses in the valley and the pace of play was fantastic. Less then four hours on a Sunday that’s great.
