Las Colinas Golf Club
About
The golf course at Las Colinas Golf Club stretches over a gently, rolling landscape sprinkled with over 2000 cottonwoods as well as various other native grasses and plants. The greens are separated by ribbons of desert washes, where golfers sometimes catch glimpses of local wildlife. Although the golf course is not as demanding as other championship courses, the layout features an interesting variety of holes that requires precision from every club in the bag. The course offers a challenge for all skill levels with doglegs and lakes coming into play on some holes. Located in the growing community of Queen Creek, Las Colinas Golf Club has become a popular choice in the Valley.

Great local track
We enjoy playing this local favorite. Everyone is friendly and the folks that play here are the best. The course is in very good condition heading into the end of summer
Good Condition
For this time of the year, the corse is in good shape even after all the storms in the area. They did a good job cleaning things up. Enjoy playing here before the you know who return.
Sunday Golf Outing
This time of year course condition , sparse fairway and green grass, bumpy greens and Bermuda still dorm it
Closing Early
This closing early nonsense during the summer is becoming an epidemic in the valley. I purchased their summer card (which also covers Apache Creek). I have done this before. NEVER AGAIN! They never indicated that after 4:30pm you can only play 9. Are you kidding??!! THIS IS SUMMER!! Folks reading this...DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CARD. Also, the course conditions have declined to almost an unplayable condition mostly in regards to the fairways. What a shame. This WAS the most enjoyable course to fit your game that you could ever ask for. Members have to be livid.
Las Colinas Downhill
I"ve played Las Colinas regularly for the past several years, I enjoy the course, it's not overly difficult but challenging enough for a 12 handicap. I played it this morning and was dismayed by the condition. The fairways have large patches of dead or no grass, the fringe/light rough areas surrounding many of the greens have died, the greens themselves were better than the rest of the course but that's not saying much. I don't know what happened, but this is the worst shape I've ever seen this course in. Disappointing.
Summertime blues
The staff was excellent as usual. While there was water in the course, I was disappointed that there were no ice sheets that could be attached to the car! They did allow us to bring ours along, so we did have a place for our cold drinks. The fairways were very sparse in places and several times we were playing off of dirt in the middle of the fairways. The greens were in good shape and rolled true. Even in light of the above, IT IS SUMMER IN ARIZONA! I was pleased with the course.
Fun Day
I thought the course was very well set up. Some tough pin placements. Over all a fun day. I would encourage everyone to play this course.
good conditions
the greens are nice of course some burned spots in the fairways but overall conditions better than most.
Decent Course
Overall, the course was in decent shape, with a few burned out areas in some of the fairways. The greens were smooth, but slowish. A few of the tee boxes could use some work, but considering the time of year that we're in, the course was pretty fair. The one thing I like about this course is the practice area...it's very good.
Practice Track
Fun little course I've played many times. Greens are typically in good shape and putt true. Relatively short: 6600 yards from the tails. They've made the course easier over the years: removing trees, barely existent rough. The sand is the worst aspect as it is course and inconsistent at best. Visually the layout is interesting. Great course to practice on and build confidence. Lots of beginners and high handicappers but the pace of play is generally good.
Good practice track
This is a course I've played many times. I like the layout because there are very few holes that lack some interest. Over the years they've made the course too easy by removing trees and keeping the "rough" nearly equivalent to the fairways. Having said that it is a great place to practice and build confidence. No hidden surprises and no tricks it's all in front of you and there for the taking. You have to produce the score though. The bunker sand is inconsistent and course. There are a lot of ground squirels and holes if off the fairway in the desert. Greens are generally in really good shape and putt true. Good variety of holes both in length and direction. Relatively short: 6600 yards from the tips.
Conditions still very Good
The course was in good shape. The greens rolled true and excellent shape. The bunkers on the other hand need a little work. Not much sand in them it was like hitting off concrete. This is a good course
Staff rude
Not sure why a person who works at the counter needs to be poor in attitude when playing with my child. I was told I needed to hear what he had to say about my child because he was only 5 almost six but I told him I have played before withnhim and he said ai needed to hear what he had to say because it was coarse plolicy. I have played here for years and this guy has issued. Why not be nice so whom ever plays can enjoy the game.
Staff will rush you
While approaching the greens on 16 while shooting one of the better game I’ve played it’s was 640 . Lots of daylight left. An older man had been riding right behind us pulling the flags maybe 2 Carr lengths away . He then pulled up behind us and said we need to return the carts by 645. I mean gezz can we finish ? The sun wasn’t even close to down yet. Seemed rude maybe it was racial
Fun afternoon
2 :30 round as a twosome ( a local ). Fairways tee boxes and greens in very nice condition. Will be back
Perfect Father's Day
Course was in excellent condition. Fairways great and greens as well. Never seen it better!
A rainy day
Started out cloudy but got worse. Finally quit after a rainsoaked 15 holes. The course was in great shape and the staff was friendly. Will be back.....on a sunny day
Very Nice course to play
I especially enjoy playing in the summer because play is as fast or slow as you wish to play.
Great conditions
Course was in great shape. Greens rolled true and barely anyone out on the course.

TOTALLY AGREE!! This was NEVER the case!! What is this nonsense?? You close a course when the sun goes down! You want our money in the winter but then rush us in the late afternoon , IN SUMMER, when you can work on your game. This kind of nonsense is bemoaning an issue in the valley. And I will be posting a review on the course conditions for 7/28/2018 soon.
