The Links Golf Club At Queen Creek
About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business. There are plans for redevelopments into a residential area.
Set in a private, gated golf community located in Queen Creek, The Links at Queen Creek is not a typical Arizona desert course. Most of the course including the signature third hole, features ample trees, grass and water. This Sam Wese design, which opened in 1994, features four sets of teeboxes to accomodate everyone from low-handicappers to novice golfers. The Links at Queen Creek is a popular host course for tournaments, as the staff is skilled in event planning, execution and promotion.

Such a fun course
I always love playing this course because it’s different from the average. They are some holes that are reachable and just dare you to swing away. But miss a little and it’s a bad day. It’s not an incredibly long course from the white but the blues make it a fun challenge. Anybody who wants to go to a course and definitely wants to have to think about strategy.. this is a perfect course to do it in.
And I have to say they take great care of this course and it definitely shows on the fairways and greens and you usually see someone out on the course all day filling divots on the fairways. Attention to detail sets this course apart!
Go and play this you will have a lot of fun and BONUS.. NO SAND TRAPS!,
Beautiful Day at the Links!
I really like this course. It is my favorite in the section of the Phoenix area. My only complaint is that this time of year (after the snow birds leave), things get pretty wild out there with pace of play. First 9 were great! Back nine were a mess. Single players, twosomes who acted like they own the course really slowed down the pace. Still shot my best round ever at the Links. I'll be back!!
Lots of grass
Easy to find but hard to get out of parking lot, good price on golf now, tees pretty good ,but divots could be filled, fairways with good grass though a fair number of bare spots that could be worked on, greens nice and putted medium speed, no bunkers, Mikey is always nice to deal with, played in 3 hrs even with some waiting but sometimes lots longer earlier in season carts are up to date can park close to carts most times as well
Friendly and Enjoyable
The Links at Queen Creek is a fun, enjoyable course. The course is set up well, great greens and a staff that is accommodating and friendly.
Senior’s Dream
At 5800 yds from the blues, par 70, this gem of a course is a fine layout for seniors like me who call a 220 drive smokin’ it. Great for the ladies too, my wife shot a personal best round our first time out here. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens all well attended, rolling true and fast. Traps were few and not in very good shape. Freindly staff even provided a course layout book at no charge. I plan to return!
good course
Course is in good shape. The greens are very fair...roll good
Great Course
I have been playing this course for the past 2 years. Play it 3 times a week. They have really good special pricing thru out the day.
Playing after a tournament
We love this course normally. We were booked to play after a tournament or some event and the target positioning was in very difficult places for non pro golfers. It took us longer to play and the scores were not what is typically earned.
Fun course to play
2nd consecutive day playing this course. Last two days in AZ before heading back to New England. Both days played in foursomes in 3 1/2 hours. Pace of play admirable. Wish all courses were like this one in that regard. Course is on short side; 5800 yards from the tips. Hit several hybrids off the tee on par 4s.
Greens a bit on the firm side so don't hold approach shots very well. In good condition though and provide great putting surface. Nice layout with a few slight doglegs running in both directions from the tee. Green fee most reasonable. I would certainly play again and would recommend.
Great course and friendly staff!
Love this course! Great staff, excellent course layout and great condition! Highly recommend the Links to anyone looking for a slightly shorter, challenging course!
What a Treat
I had not played the course for over 8 yrs and almost forgot the entire layout. I am a long hitter and found the course to be an exciting layout with all of the options one had off the teebox .... carry water, fly over trees, play safe down the middle, draw shots into back pins surrounded by trees. It was very fun!! Greens run relatively true to lines selected. The course is not long from the tips (under 5800 yds) but it sure tunes up your accuracy off the tee and your wedge game into the pins. Go play it.
Fun but a little costly
The price was a little high for this course.
We played in under 4 hours, but as we finished on the 18th green and were shaking hands the player assistant asked us to move off the green. That was a bad way to end the day. Were ahead of pace and not holding up play.
Great evening round
Course is in good condition and we enjoyed the round.
