The Links Golf Club At Queen Creek
About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business. There are plans for redevelopments into a residential area.
Set in a private, gated golf community located in Queen Creek, The Links at Queen Creek is not a typical Arizona desert course. Most of the course including the signature third hole, features ample trees, grass and water. This Sam Wese design, which opened in 1994, features four sets of teeboxes to accomodate everyone from low-handicappers to novice golfers. The Links at Queen Creek is a popular host course for tournaments, as the staff is skilled in event planning, execution and promotion.

Smaller course, but a lot of fun
This course is about 1000 yards smaller than your average course, but has some interesting holes. It is fun putting for eagles vs double bogeys on other courses. Great value, and their breakfast sandwich is the best I have ever had. Unfortunately, they close down for the summer. Staff was great. 3 hour round of golf. 2 big thumbs up.
Perfect father son venue
I love playing here with my son! Good value, especially for adding a junior, the layout is logical and fair and the course is in excellent condition always. Great balance between simple, affordable and beautiful!
Fun course and great short course, you don't have to be long but you do need to be straight .
Pleasant Enough but lots of better choices around
Mixed feelings...Cheap course with no driving range, but excellent greens and OK fairways. Biggest issue was starter holding everyone back by 15-20 minutes to adequately space everyone out because they had no marshall that day. So we teed off 20+ minutes late. Cruised around the course well enough but was irked at starting so late.
It's also an 18 hole course crammed into a space big enough for about 14 holes. Tiny, blind landing areas, trees in weird spots.
OK option when it's cheap and nothing else is available, but there are a ton of better options than poking irons around a course like this.
Great Day at The Links
I like this course a lot and when I can get a good rate it's all that much better. Got off early in the morning and was able to finish the front 9 before a shotgun tournament. Then things slowed down for a few holes on the back nine. Still managed to play in just over 3 hours. Course was in very good condition with one month left before their summer shutdown. I'll be back!
Nice layout
Had a great time playing at the Links as it is a great course, perfect for those who want to work on there irons and putting.
Lush
Very green. Had an enjoyable and very fast round. Less than three hours.
Love the course and playing it, very sad that they close in the summer time.
Excellent but somewhat more challenging than most .
Excellent but somewhat more challenging than most .
If you are a long ball hitter take control or pay . So once more better than most . I believe only 1 hole is close to the house with a driver . IMany of these area golf courses have houses on both sides , not here . This course will pay off if you keep it in the fairway . One par 3 in back tees was 240 but easy down middle with bail out on both side .
This is one of my favorite courses ever and i'm a 22 year player . Last is slopes down heavy so below the hole on most and it will be nice. On a couple par 4s I drove it through the green and the chip was a high degree of lean and difficulty .
retired
it's a great way to spend an afternoon . Relax play
golf & drink a couple beers.
Very Worthwhile
I always enjoy playing the Links at Queen Creek. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and the course is well looked after and it was in good condition. Some browning on the fairways but can be expected this time of the year. Check it out you won't be disappointed.
Great condition
Fantastic experience Cource was in great shape the greens rolled nicely we had a fantastic time there were to be 2 foursomes but one gentleman had a family emergency and couldn’t make it and they were kind enough to only charge us for 7 players!! We will definitely be back! Oh be sure to try one of there giant hot dogs!!
Course is still in great shape. Mike and Val are wonderful. Worth the time and money.
Beautiful course
This is a beautiful course with a nice mix of challenging and easy holes. Pace of play was excellent, we saw the Ranger several times out checking on things. The breakfast sandwiches were outstanding!
