Sedona Golf Resort
About
Nestled amidst the beautiful Red Rocks of Sedona, Sedona Golf Resort offers truly unique scenery. The golf course sprawls across elevations ranging from 3,960 feet to as much as 4,260 feet, a landscape that provides elevated tees, raised greens, tricky lies, and difficult approach shots. The dramatic elevations also offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The course winds in and out of the rock formations, giving each hole a unique character and scenery. It is not particularly long at 6,646 yards but the challenging elevated greens and winding doglegs make up for any lack of length. The sixth and the 10th are the signature holes but one of the most challenging holes comes earlier, the second. This hole really takes advantage of the Sedona topography, offering sight of the raised green but little else in front of it.

Very beautiful course. Really enjoy the stunning views while playing golf.
Aerated Fairways During Play - Not Good???
Did not expect to have two fairways recently aerated with the plugs still laying all over the fairways; not acceptable!. We should have been told this condition exists prior to paying for the round and a discount offered.
It’s a fun course to play once
Beautiful views. It’s an OK track but actually quite easy. It was fun to play one time. Otherwise it’s not worth the money
Overpriced
This course brands itself as a resort…..but it really isn’t, missing a lot of things typical for a resort (except maybe the price). It’s probably a $50 golf course so, if you paid $150 then you paid $100 for the views which are free from most anywhere else in Sedona. The views are fantastic but the course is poorly maintained, fairways not mowed, slow greens, bunkers inconsistent and poor quality. We wouldn’t go back at this price, maybe try Oakcreek Country Club a mile away as it’s cheaper, has similar views and is in much better condition.
Excellent round
Love playing here, unfortunately we were behind some really slow golfers that also seemed to have no awareness of the bottleneck they were causing. We teed off just before 2:00 and barely got 18 in before dark. The food cart was also out of all food except candy bars and the restaurant was closed for a wedding so we went hungry all afternoon. Other than that it was excellent and I’ll keep returning.
Absolutely the best!
Not sure it could have been any better. 3.5 hrs...great staff...starter George was on point and great...course was good condition for February...it was cold 50s...but that was the only thing I could wish was better.
Perfect in everyway !
Sahalee Canuck Sedona
Playing in the winter season, the course conditions might be off a little but very understandable. Loved the course design and the views of the mountains are incredible. Would definitely play this course again.
Lacking
Good track and conditions considering how cold it was night before and morning. Bag guys and checkin weren't very responsive with little help or direction. They didn't notify me when checking in that they had moved my teetime up fifteen minutes to have need join a twosome. I saw the two go off and ran over to starter to see about joining them, and he saidi was supposed to already but no one told me. Especially since I had called to check on frost delay, spoke with and checked in with Jordan in pro shop but no communications. Seemed a bit arrogant at this place but whatever.
Breathtaking Red Rock gem
Had a outstanding , relaxing twi light visit ! Everyone working was warm, helpful , and made experience terrific! The course itself is awesome , greens had a few rough spots , and some of the ravens were difficult to deal with both by design and upkeep but design is beautiful! Highly recommend and would play again . Side note the Sedona Golf app is cool but cart girls need to be trained on how to use or it needs to be updated to be able to use on course !
Wonderful course. Challenging greens.
We loved the course! The greens can be challenging.
Awesome views throughout!
Great to squeeze in 18 before sunset
I was able to squeeze in 18 holes teeing off around 2:30. I had to play through a couple pairs, but expected since I was solo. Great value at only $64.
A lot of ground under repair and the ground was very wet (didn't rain that day), maybe they run sprinklers toward twilight? Impacted quite a few shots.
I would recommend.
Links and rocks
What a beautiful course. Although they had some fairway issues over the summer, the course is looking really good. The foursome I played with were energetic, friendly, and very good golfers. We had a great time. The greens were true to the design and presented challenges to all of us. Looking forward to playing here again in March 2022.
Good place to play
Course was fun and conditions were good. Several beautiful and scenic holes. My one complaint was a longer-haired marshal that continued to speed us along - 3 different times. I know what you're thinking, but we rarely saw others on the course at all and there wasn't anyone behind us when he got onto us, in the fairway or on the green. Pace wasn't that bad, maybe 4-4.5 hours. We weren't fast, but I'd expect that pace on a resort course. To make it worse, he eventually split our group into two twosomes on 14 and by 15 we had caught a 5-some ahead of us and waited on every box and fairways afterwards with our twosome partners behind us in sight.. You can image how the level of play suffered and at $175/round, it was a major annoyance.
