Nestled amidst the beautiful Red Rocks of Sedona, Sedona Golf Resort offers truly unique scenery. The golf course sprawls across elevations ranging from 3,960 feet to as much as 4,260 feet, a landscape that provides elevated tees, raised greens, tricky lies, and difficult approach shots. The dramatic elevations also offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The course winds in and out of the rock formations, giving each hole a unique character and scenery. It is not particularly long at 6,646 yards but the challenging elevated greens and winding doglegs make up for any lack of length. The sixth and the 10th are the signature holes but one of the most challenging holes comes earlier, the second. This hole really takes advantage of the Sedona topography, offering sight of the raised green but little else in front of it.

Absolutely the best!

Not sure it could have been any better. 3.5 hrs...great staff...starter George was on point and great...course was good condition for February...it was cold 50s...but that was the only thing I could wish was better.

Perfect in everyway !

Sahalee Canuck Sedona

Playing in the winter season, the course conditions might be off a little but very understandable. Loved the course design and the views of the mountains are incredible. Would definitely play this course again.

Lacking

Good track and conditions considering how cold it was night before and morning. Bag guys and checkin weren't very responsive with little help or direction. They didn't notify me when checking in that they had moved my teetime up fifteen minutes to have need join a twosome. I saw the two go off and ran over to starter to see about joining them, and he saidi was supposed to already but no one told me. Especially since I had called to check on frost delay, spoke with and checked in with Jordan in pro shop but no communications. Seemed a bit arrogant at this place but whatever.

Breathtaking Red Rock gem

Had a outstanding , relaxing twi light visit ! Everyone working was warm, helpful , and made experience terrific! The course itself is awesome , greens had a few rough spots , and some of the ravens were difficult to deal with both by design and upkeep but design is beautiful! Highly recommend and would play again . Side note the Sedona Golf app is cool but cart girls need to be trained on how to use or it needs to be updated to be able to use on course !

Great to squeeze in 18 before sunset

I was able to squeeze in 18 holes teeing off around 2:30. I had to play through a couple pairs, but expected since I was solo. Great value at only $64.

A lot of ground under repair and the ground was very wet (didn't rain that day), maybe they run sprinklers toward twilight? Impacted quite a few shots.

I would recommend.

Links and rocks

What a beautiful course. Although they had some fairway issues over the summer, the course is looking really good. The foursome I played with were energetic, friendly, and very good golfers. We had a great time. The greens were true to the design and presented challenges to all of us. Looking forward to playing here again in March 2022.

Good place to play

Course was fun and conditions were good. Several beautiful and scenic holes. My one complaint was a longer-haired marshal that continued to speed us along - 3 different times. I know what you're thinking, but we rarely saw others on the course at all and there wasn't anyone behind us when he got onto us, in the fairway or on the green. Pace wasn't that bad, maybe 4-4.5 hours. We weren't fast, but I'd expect that pace on a resort course. To make it worse, he eventually split our group into two twosomes on 14 and by 15 we had caught a 5-some ahead of us and waited on every box and fairways afterwards with our twosome partners behind us in sight.. You can image how the level of play suffered and at $175/round, it was a major annoyance.

Spectacular !!!

I’m not one to make reviews and I think this is my first.

This is one of the most beautiful courses I have ever played. Sedona is a magical place to begin with, and the course certainly has the views.

I could go on about the golfability and conditions … is golfability even a word? But I won’t. So I guess I’m a bad reviewer.

Play this course, if only for the views, it was an afternoon well spent.

I will be back.

Disappointed

This a course that has been tricked up and very unforgiving from the if you go into the tall rough or OB. They have done work around all the greens with 2 courses of sod so putting from the fringe sucks. Also the greens have a lot of dead areas. Not worth the money.

Poor conditions

When I checked in this morning I was greeted with a change in rate from $150 as booked to now $95 with a $15 pro shop / restaurant credit. At first I was excited but after about 3 holes I understood why - the course was in a struggling condition. Greens were recently aerated (always understand this), but the rest of the greens facilities were disastrous, a lot of missing grass and trenches dug in from greens keeping equipment. The course was overly saturated as well requiring 90 degree crossing only and the use of fall cleaning rules as balls were easily plugged in the fairway and greens side rough. Overall the views were incredible and staff was more than friendly, but the course itself did not justify even the $80 net greens fee in my opinion.

Fantastic

First time here. I play a lot of golf around the world and I'm not a pro golfer, amateur at best in my opinion. This coarse is absolutely amazing. Not an over all difficult play but the views are amazing. If you only play the coarse for the view you have lived well. Staff and facilities all outstanding. I was told I was here during a slower part of their season. I have zero complaints and will play here again someday. Great job to the staff!!
