El Conquistador Golf & Tennis - Pusch X9 Course

Wow, this is a great test of golf, never played such a fair, yet risk/reward course ever! If the greens were better I would play everday at Pusch Ridge.

This course needs a sign saying "experts only" hehehe

There was a one hour frost delay for a 36 man outing. This pushed every other tee time back. So naturally there were a dozen groups lined up waiting to tee off all at once. No calls/text/emails were sent out to notify anyone of this delay. No course employee was made available to help keep everyone organized. It was a free for all. Groups were trying to cut in line to tee off ahead of others. Then it was a rushed feeling trying to play. I had multiple times a golf ball from the group behind us land next to us. They did not handle this well at all.

The wife and I love playing this course. The staff allows players to manage their own pace and it's worked out everytime i've been there. The course is excellent condition and it's a bit tough. Challenging.

With some effort this 9-hole course can be a really special place. Course is tight and very challenging. The greens were not in the best shape and were very bumpy. The other ElCon courses are in better shape, but don’t let that stop you from playing here. Who cares what you about. The views are breathtaking!! See ya soon Pusch Ridge!

Slow play, poor conditions, bare doors. What's to like?

Very little grass on fairways. Bumpy greens..

2.5 - 3 hours per 9.

This little 9 hole course packs a punch. Lots of narrow and slopped fairways. Slopped, elevated and challenging greens. It's a fun set up, but very challenging. The course in in good shape, but not great. It is, however, a great price at $25. Well worth it for a fun and beautiful 9 hole challenge. I try and play it weekly. The listing says it's open year round which is not true at the moment. The course is closed June thru September.

Great staff and a great 9 hope course.
