Pusch Ridge: A Challenging and Scenic Nine Holes

Second time playing Pusch Ridge. We Travel to Tuscon each February for a few days from Bend Oregon to visit family and play golf with friends. Over three days, we enjoy playing two 18 hole courses with Pusch Ridge between. Makes for a great three days of golf. The course layout is a definite challenge. The beauty and ruggedness of the mountains rising above the course is spectacular.

Fast 9 hole course with tough greens

This course is short and plays shorter due to the lack of recent rainfall. Very good layout and great Mountain views. Local knowledge is necessary to score. Greens undulate severely to the point of being unfair. You can easily putt off the green and we did, even though the greens were not that fast.Course was busy but speed of play, 9 holes in under 2 hours was reasonable.

Beware of the Automatic Ball Return!

On in regulation, only to end up with a tripple bogey due to the auto ball return off the greens. Unless you plant your approach like a pro, don't expect a great experience on the greens. Even when you get on, by the time you get to your ball, it has rolled off a hill and is 25 yards away. :-(

Great little 9 hole course and not a bad view on a few holes. Even with a little wind the weather was perfect. Greens were a little quick on a couple of the holes but it was nice challenge. Make sure to hit em straight!

Porta Potty on Hole 7

This is a biological hazard. No sanitizing fluid for weeks. Looks like it has not maintained since start of season. COME ON.
